Me and four friends arrived at Villa Marfim by rental car on a friday night. Because of some minor problems were we delayed a few hours. Luis welcomed us and showed us the house and he had even bought some beer and sandwiches since he knew we would be hungry.
The house itself is charming and cozy in a quiet area but still near three different beaches. The center of town is within walking distance. There is a minimercado and a few restaurants a few hundred meters away, though I would only recommend them for a minor lunch or not at all.
The house was provided with towels and linen for all of us, It has wi-fi and a cozy outside dining area with a grill, though we had problems making the charcoal burn, but Luis came and helped us, and saved our dinner. :)
Luis was the best. He was very helpful, gave us tips where we should go and helped us with other various problems. Thank you Luis for a wonderful stay, I'll hope we'll come and visit you and your lovely home again. From Sweden with love.

Rental was perfect, for our time here is Lagos. Close to beaches, dining, shopping/groceries, and centre city area.
House is clean with modern convince, but still has old world charm.
Has access to wifi and tv, great for down times. Linens and towels all provided and clean. If you love the sun, roof top lounging area...great place to sit in the evening and look at the stars.
Would recommend, senhor Luis is a lovely man who owns the place. Helpful and as we came and went would confirm if we needed anything! (He lives in separate house on the lot, not intrusive very nice!!)
Side note...while there I would strongly recommend the grotto tours. 12.50$ euro each but a great way to spend an hour!
Also there is a restaurant call "os acros"
That was our favorite restaurant for dinners and lunch.
Obrigado senhor Luis! Love for Canada!
The Teixeira family!
