This is a busy and vibrant market. Saturday is the best day for a visit as the local farmers have stall around the outside as well. inside you can purchase any thing from fish, meat veg, wine to leather goods souvenirs ,wine, flowers, and cakes. In fact almost any thing you could want. It is surrounded by cafés and bars so you can also get a great value meal or just a cup of coffee. We'll worth a visit.

Good to go to Loule and see the gyspy market. This one wasn't too bad but just a typical gypsy market, you can't look at anything without them wanting you to buy something. Police watching all the time too which makes you feel safer.

We have been going here for at least 10 years and it has changed over the years.
It use to be gypsy market but now it is no more than a location that sells cheap t shirts probably made in China , however we do like having the freshly fried doughnuts. A much better market that is the local market in Loule which sells local regional projects but local people.

Went to this market on a day trip, not very impressed with the Gypsy Market some of the items overpriced for what they were, we negotiated for 2 jackets for 40 Euros unfortunately this was not enough for the stall holder whom, after we thought a price had been agreed, decided to be greedy and demanded more money and got quite aggressive I eventually tossed another 30 Euros to shut her up. I would not recommend this as a day trip as we believed we had been ripped off.

Not as much here as the Wed market in Quarteria . Visited Loule castle and wandered into town where good selection shops, eating places and staff in shops greeted you and were helpful.
