“a real paradise”
Reviewed 22 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

We passed a wonderful week at the Villa Peaceheaven with our tow children (5 and 7 years). The house, the surroundings (pool and garden) and the fantastic view did exceed all our expectations. We really can not say what should be improved. Everything was great, a perfect place to stay as a family. A big compliment to Bernadette and Chris and also to the Fiona and Ray!
We would love to come back any time!

“Relaxation for the whole family!”
Reviewed 12 July 2018 for a stay in May 2018

We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Peacehaven for 6 nights in May, and we could not fault it in any way.
The location is stunning and from the moment we arrived it felt like home.
The villa is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly require and is all of a very high standard. The bedrooms are all very spacious and to have three bathrooms is great!
Seating is plentiful outside of the villa and the owners have carefully placed outdoor furniture in various spots to ensure that there is always somewhere shady to sit in the midday sun. The pool is perfect and is extremely secure for those with younger children.
The villa is a 10 minute drive from Loule, where there are several supermarkets as well as lots of wonderful shops, cafés and eateries. The market is well worth a visit and the fresh produce is amazing especially the fish!!
There is lots to do in the area from beautiful beaches to walking, cycling and those wishing to play golf there are plenty of courses.
If you’re in need of a complete relax and recharge, Villa Peacehaven is definitely the place!
We would love to return!

“Gorgeous uninterrupted views, peace and tranquility guaranteed.”
Reviewed 23 April 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Villa Peacehaven truly lives up to its name. The property is a short drive from Loule centre, where you will find supermarkets and wonderful restaurants, if you fancy eating out.
The property itself is a little off the beaten track and up a very steep hill, but this all adds to its charm. There are only two properties at the top of the hill so you really are quite a way from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The villa has electric gates, and a perimeter and villa alarm, so it feels very secure.
The villa itself is very well maintained and I cannot speak highly enough about Ray, the house manager. He was superbly attentive, without being intrusive, and even helped us out when the DVD player stopped working suddenly, by going out that same day to pick up another one. Our teenage boys remained thankfully entertained!
Given that we visited at the end of March, we weren't sure what the weather might have in store for us. Thankfully, the underfloor heating in the villa and the heated pool, meant we could make the most of the sun during the day, and were cosy at night.
The living area has a log fire, which we lit on one occasion, it felt incredibly indulgent as it's central heating all the way back at home! There are also several bean bags, sofas and a lazy boy chair to relax on. The blankets are a nice touch.
In addition, there are three dining table options...the kitchen, the living room and the veranda. We made use of all three and our favourite was definitely the veranda. You really cannot beat the views!
The bedrooms are exceptionally clean and there is a maid service every Wednesday, where linen and towels are changed. The bathrooms are also well appointed with two of the three rooms en suite.
The kitchen is large with plenty of fridge and cupboard space. Everything you need is to hand, all that's required is your own food and drink! There is also a dishwasher and washing machine.
The real gem of this villa however, is the pool. It is absolutely gorgeous as you are surrounded by the green lush valley and the pretty garden. There are plenty of sun loungers and an additional table and chairs at the front of the villa.
To the side of the villa is a grassy area with a large tree, complete with a tyre tree swing, the boys often played football there in the sunny afternoons.
If you are looking for a tranquil break, with fabulous views, with a clean, homely interior, this really is an absolute gem of a property.
We will definitely return.

“Excellent as always”
Reviewed 25 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Our 6th year (I think) of visiting this villa. We absolutely love it here and intend to keep coming back. Everything is of a very high standard with all home comforts provided. Spotlessly clean. Great location with a 5 min car journey to Loule for supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The villa managers are lovely, so friendly and helpful.

Roll on 2018!

“Practically Flawless”
Reviewed 2 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Just returned from a 2 week stay at Villa Peacehaven and can only say positive things:-

Location - Brilliant
Villa - Excellent
Pool - Great
Gardens - Immaculate
Welcome - warm and friendly

There were 6 adults and 1 infant, at no time did we feel we did not have enough room. We tended to eat in mainly and the kitchen proved adequate for all our culinary needs - there are two fridges and one just happened to be great for keeping all those "essential fluids" cool :-)

The pool was very clean and made with real tiles (not a plastic liner) and can be heated on request... although with ambient temperatures when we were there of around 35C, I am not sure why you would!

Plenty of varied places to sit or eat inside/outside... although the covered veranda was very welcome during the mid-day sun.

Security was excellent, especially if you have children to supervise/entertain.

I can truly say that is one villa that we would (will?) probably return to at some future point.

Highly Recommended.
