Non pretentious bar/cafe with relaxed atmosphere and a good range of lunch options on the menu. Nothing to write home about in terms of food - we made a quick and simple choice of some toasties and crepes - all of which were fresh and tasty. Good service too and a darn fine espresso deserves mention.
Only thing that might annoy some millennial visitors with snowflake tendencies is the seemingly outrageous practise of allowing patrons to smoke inside the bar... 1991 called and they want their ash-trays back !
A couple of local girls were smoking at the bar while we were eating there but it didn't cause any smell or offence with us, but if the place was full of people and stinking of smoke you maybe wouldn't choose to stop here for a munch with small kids.
