We were in a (business) hotel outside city center, and did not want to venture far, looking for a simpel dinner. Both LP and TA offered us this place. With a terrace located on a parking, it doesn't look like much. They do have a menu in English, but no waiters that master the language.

Still, we were welcome... Tables were rearranged to seat these 4 strangers, surrounded (as far as we could see/hear) by only Portugese. Food was good, abundant and promptly served.

Only small blotch on the near perfect place was the fact that smoking was allowed (we were outside, but the cover let the smoke spread slowly over the surrounding tables).

Still, a wonderful experience, worth sharing and recommending!

The food is excellent and the servings are easily enough for two. Even though the staff doesn't speak much English they are very friendly and they do have an english menu.

We had the "land and sea" which is actually a surf and turf, but it was tasty! And don't worry, with this meal you will have plenty, at a verysoft price. The waiters don't speak English but are friendly and helpful, so that should not be a problem! Enjoy

Excellent service - great food. Be aware that this is a college town - still they did a great job. Sit close to where the owner is - the bar at 2nd floor. You'll never forget the experience.

This restaurent is extremely busy with both inside and outside eating areas. Outside is inside a marquee which in the winter has heaters and in the summer a big air con unit. Much favoured by local workers and business for lunch. We usually eat here when in town for shopping. The offer a Prato do Dia for 7 euros which is excellent. This comprises Soup, 3 choices of main course and usually fresh fruit for dessert, a carafe of wine and coffee. I would say the food offered would be classed as local typical fare. We always enjoy our meal here. Watchingthe owner "work" the tables is always good fun!
