“Always pleasant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

Went there once again and did not disappoint. Is expensive but the seafood is very fresh. The service is friendly. We had to wait for the restaurant to open for dinner (7.30) which can be a bit late for some... But we wait at the esplanade with some cocktails. Recommend

“Excelent Moment - Localização, Serviço, e Peixe ao Sal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2014

Excellent moment in this restaurant beautifully placed next to the sea. This restaurant allies decoration and space, with the famous very good portuguese service, and an excellent food!

I definitely highlight the service and quality of the food.

“Great sea food at a sensational location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2014

I arranged dinner here with a large group of friends who were staying at Hotel Senhora da Guia, directly across the road. As it was their first time in Portugal, I hoped for somewhere that shwcased the best of Portugal. Furnas didn't disappoint - the sea views are amazing (it's worth arriving early to have pre dinner drinks on the terrace above the cliffs), the sea food and Portuguese wine were fantastic and the service attentive. A little more expensive than other local options, but well worth it for the experience.

Extremely well located and with quality food, this is a place I recommend - especially during summer.

“Great view, good atmosphere, food a third”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014

The place was buzzing on Friday night with people being turned away. We were lucky to get an early walk-in for 4. The staff were friendly and looked after the kids well. The views from the terrace are fantastic and it's a great place to watch the sun go down. Good choice of wines and a reasonably comprehensive menu at reasonable prices. The clams were great but perhaps we chose badly for the main as the seafood paella was dry and bland. Salt baked bream on the next table looked good:(
