Most of the food was top level, but I couldn't really get a grip on the egg-dish. It lacked resistance, and came off as just a big mush. The risotto, cod and beef were all really, really great!Great service too!!

The restaurant is worth the drive. It is not placed near the water or with a spectacular view, but damm the food and wine is good and affordable.

The waiters are really kind and friendly.

This restaurant takes some finding, either take a taxi or a gps or you will never get there, once you arrive it is very tiny but smart restaurant with an interesting concept, you do not know what food you will get, you choose the number of courses and tell them any allergies or dislikes . The food was very modern takes on local and Portuguese specialities, it made for a great evening , worth a visit if you are in the area

My wife and I went for dinner. There are 3 options - 3, 4 or 5 course menu. There is also wine pairing. We opted for 5-course and wine pairing.

The restaurant is located off the beaten track but well worth the effort. Still only a short taxi ride.

The evening was amazing from start to finish. Each course was perfectly presented and extremely tasty. I won't say what each course is as kind of spoils the surprise. If you got like any food type they will accommodate your requests as a few tables didn't like a couple of things (eg vegetarian or not like fish).

The service was outstanding. Very efficient and able to explain the wines and each course with minimal effort.

The overall cost is cheap compared to what you would get in London - €130 plus tip for 2 people, 5-courses and 4 glasses of wine each.

It is obviously quite popular so need to book. They only take cash.

Highly recommend.

Thanks to Vanessa for being accommodating with changing the date last minute.

Don't be put off by the journey. The entire experience is amazing. The menu is a choice of three tasting menus, 3, 4 or 5 courses. We went all in and had the 5 courses with the wine flight.

The kitchen is in a glass box at the back of the restaurant. We were also lucky enough to have the table of two directly by the kitchen (get this table if you can!) so were able to see each course being prepared.

The food is Portuguese but with a modern twist - each course was light and full of flavour.

Everything about this place oozes quality and elegance, the atmosphere relaxed and the service friendly,

The journey is a bit strange, do not be put off! You do feel you are in the middle of suburbia but everything about this restaurant makes all of that worth it! Go if you have the chance.
