I really only walked into the park to take a closer look at the lovely old building that houses the fine art museum, but soon noticed all the different breeds of birds there, particularly the peacocks which seemed very friendly. The park is clean and very well-maintained. I really enjoyed my stroll around there as it has an old world charm, although imagine that is lost when it's busy.

Chickens and Peahens with their chicks, ducks and terrapins on the pond/lake. What a delightful park to wander round.

A cafe at it's centre selling lovely food and drinks in a quiet, natural setting.

A charming well kept park with lots of nature for the family to enjoy, this park feels very loved and cared for, perfect to come to when it's hot during the day to shade and walk under the trees. We stayed in an appartment 5 minutes away and came here every afternoon for a week with 2 kids under 3 who enjoyed playing on the grass, in the play ground and watching all the birds and other children. Coffee shop with super toasties to eat in or take away. Lots of water fountains, clean toilets and tons if parking. Theres even a children's library and another new children's play centre here. Enjoy!

You're not going to be whipped into a frenzy of excitement by this park but it's a lovely shady spot. Spend an hour here and feel relaxed.

We stopped here for coffee on our walk into town and it was so relaxing. My animal loving daughter spent the whole time watching the turtles, peacocks and chickens. It was a lovely cool spot.

It takes you about 1-2 hours to visit the park and enjoy the views. But you also can stay more than that to watch all the animals that live there. Full of peacocks, roosters and hens and their little ones. It is a very clean park that has lots of places to sit down and enjoy the view.

Walked in and through this park several times on our daily walk up to Casa Da Guia. It is a great place for families with several little pockets of wildlife, (think peacocks, terrapins, ducks, roosters). Nothing to dislike about it and you can get food and drinks here.

Beautiful park, you forget you have a village so close by and the beach so near. It's all about the nature set up, the small lakes filled with fishes and turtles and we we're extremelly lucky to have found some yoga classes to attend.
