Hotel Cascais Miragem

The absolute best hotel. Deserves all accolades. Don't set up lots of touring, just enjoy this hotel. The food, the views, your room. Of course, you want a room with the view of the sea.
Evening meals in the small town are served later so snack up in the afternoon and then go for a breathtaking walk on their corniche. Efficient small rail service will take you into Lisbon and is a sight seeing treat. Enjoy this hotel and the town of Cascais without a timetable.

This was a delightful place for a conference I attended. Some of the rooms in back are dark with awful views (and of course that is where they try to put everyone first), but once I was moved to the front it was wonderful. A 6th floor balcony looked southeast over the bay and with the doors open, there was a wonderful, relaxing surf sound to lull me to sleep. The desk personnel were very pleasant, and the housekeeping was amazing. I left one morning in a hurry and had some of my clean clothes stacked on a chair. When I returned, I found that the housekeeper had refolded everything and placed the clothes neatly on top of the chest. Amazing.

The other standout feature was the buffet breakfast. Tables piled high with fresh mango, pineapple, mellons, etc.; omlettes to order; smoked salmon; cheeses; pastries; it was endless. I have seen some pretty impressive breakfast buffets, but this was at the top of the list.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for an ocean view.

Greetings from Hotel Cascais Miragem!

Thank you very much for your preference in staying at Hotel Cascais Miragem and for your time in writing the review.
I am pleased that you you have enjoyed your experience after changing your room to a deluxe bedroom with a private terrace and a view to the Ocean. However, I would like to inform that the Hotel has 38 rooms out of the 192 that are standard and have the view to the hill and to the village. We do assign those rooms when they are booked and when the Hotel is full.

Thank you again for your preference and looking forward to welcoming you again to the Hotel in the near future.

Kindest regards

Wonderful staff, extremely clean, large room, fancy bathroom, balcony overlooking the ocean. Located on busy street, but no street noise. Easy walk into charming Cascais.

This hotel is wonderful. It's peaceful & calm, the toiletries were much nicer than expected, the view is tremendous, the bathroom is utterly amazing (very large, lots of counter space, a remarkably deep tub separate from the shower, bidet), and the best part--I could actually sleep here. Even during the day, the double doors between the room & the hall, and the black-out curtains made it super dark in the room, which is awesome because I have a really hard time sleeping in hotels because of all the light generally let into the room. Plus the chocolates on the pillow at night as part of turn-down service are a great touch.

My only two complaints: I did not know breakfast was included until my stay was over (wish I'd been told at check-in) and I missed my cab to the airport because my wake-up call never came.

But I would stay there again and truly did enjoy my stay!

Room Tip: ask for ocean view when booking

Otherwise a perfect stay, but our room was at opening up to an inside yard, at ground level..being dark. Internet working only with cable in the room.

Amazing service at this high-quality hotel. The views are wonderful and you will awake to the sound of the waves every morning. It is worth getting a room with a balcony.

The size of the rooms, bed and bath equals American hotels. You can truly spread out. The bath includes a stand up shower and a soaking bath tub.

The work out area is super clean with many machines and even classes. There is an indoor and an outdoor pool.

The breakfast buffet is amazing with fresh fruit, yogurt, meats, salmon, fresh coffee and a staff that serves to indulge you.

Room Tip: Take a stroll in Cascais center for lunch
