5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 January 2014

My friend and I on the way to Cabo da Roca we stopped by there and we didnt disappoint. Such a lovely place with a great view over the ocean, besides their cuisine worth a try! Our lasagna was like the one in Italy! Really! ))

Recommending to everyone!

P.S. Adorable cats were around ))

“Beautiful place, but.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 November 2013

The site alone is worth the visit. Stunning location with an amazing view to the sea. As for the restaurant, its interestingly decorated with a mix of south american and what seem like african decoration pieces. It's a nice and comfortable place, the staff is friendly but the food was rather average, which is a shame. It feels like it would have been an amazing and special place if only the food would live up to the surprise of finding such a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere.

“Stunning location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2013

Great views from outside seating when warm, comfortable inside when the weather turns colder. Good choice of food but only tried the burgers which were home made and tasty. Would like to go back and try other things on the menu.

“Beautiful place, wonderful views - pity about the food!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 October 2013

What a find - a beautiful restaurant with stunning views over the sea but what a disappointment.
The restaurant is decorated in a sort of eclectic south american style is a stunning location - based on an old windmill with lots of tables inside and dotted about the garden - a real delight. Just a pity the food wasn't better - we ordered some goulash - it appeared dry and looked to have been microwaved once too often - isn't goulash supposed to be a stew or soup? Then some soup - not a good taste and it was cold; the bowl was hot - probably reheated in a bowl not suitable for the microwave - sent both back. Had a salad - it was OK nothing too special - apparently the burgers were OK. If they had a better kitchen it would be really special - isn't the primary function of a restaurant to provide good food - what a disappointment.

“Like stepping into a Tropical Island Bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2013

We had read some reviews and were unsure whether to go or not. However, we were amazed by the décor inside. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble and it is fun and interesting. OK not your typical Portuguese eatery but it makes a pleasant change. We went for lunch not expecting too much but for the prices charged the food was good and exactly as described. The staff were helpful and friendly and when we asked if we could take some photos they were delighted. As others have mentioned the views are superb although it can be windy because of where it is situated. Give it a go and take an open mind with you.
