We visited this restaurant twice in our 5 night break in Estoril. We sat outside on both occasions but would recommend having dinner earlier rather than later as once the sun goes down behind the nearby building it can get quite chilly..... You could alway move to an inside table however but I like being outside listening to the sea. The staff here are friendly and helpful, the food was excellent...we can personally recommend the fried shrimp, shrimp in garlic butter, Brie samosa, steak with potatoes broccoli and mushroom, the lobster rice, chicken stuff with Portuguese sausage and tuna steak!! Great restaurant, great service, great location

The location at the beach walk is great, facing the Atlantic. Modern interior and friendly staff. Prices are a bit high comparing to restaurants situated in the built up areas. Good food!

O Piparo is a nice place to sit and have a coffee, but don't go there if you are in a hurry as the waiters tend to be try slow. The menu seems nice but often disappointing after you see what is on your plate. The cheese cake tasted strangely like majonese and I suspect they use a lot of ready-made products.

Very different from existing traditional restaurants by the beaches, Opíparo offers quite original and sofisticated salads and main courses, very tasty and in large portions. Ambience and the view are superb. Prices according to overall quality. Service is still requiring a lot of improvement, but the overall impression remains rather positive.

Ate here with a small group - the food was very poor, one of our party never received his starter, one never received their main course and one was served a steak which was definitely off. The service was shocking and after a very long heated argument they offered 5% off the bill which was, frankly, insulting. The service was rude and the justification for the steak - well they denied it was off but did admit that it tasted of fish...
