Stayed here as arranged by our tour. Very nice modern hotel.fast check in, big lobby with sofas for your wifi. Clean rooms with limited breakfast choices. What I like here is its location that is across the sanctuary and the chapels. Its also convenient for shopping of rosaries, stores are beside the hotel and closes late in the evening with courteous salesladies..

We were so happy with this hotel! The hotel is wonderful all the staff were very friendly we love it. We forgot a picture there and they send it to our house, so we appreciated so much. We're planning of going again next year. The restaurant of the hotel excellent too, in the scale of 1 to 10 we gave them 10.

My husband and I were originally booked into the Hotel Estrela de Fatima, however, they had accidentally overbooked themselves with a bus tour (it happens) and so we were sent to their sister hotel, the Hotel Regina. As we try our best (financially) to go to Fatima every year for a week, I can guarantee we’ll stay at this hotel again.

Pros: Room with a balcony
Front desk staff very accommodating and friendly
Clean and comfortable rooms
Very close to the basilica (across the street and down a bit)
Very close to shops and restaurants

Cons:

Breakfast – very limited breakfast menu consisting of cold meat, bread, cheese, yogurt and cereal. This being said, I never went hungry!

Parking - We parked in a very small underground parking lot. Thank goodness we rented a tiny car! It was beside and slightly under the hotel and was gated. This meant that we kept getting locked out, or in, depending on the time of day and we’d have to go bother someone at the front desk to unlock the car park.
This being said, the man who unlocked the gate for us never complained and was only happy to do it. We understand that the lot needs to be gated so it doesn’t get filled up with cars of people not staying at the hotel. We learned very quickly to ask at the front desk, “Is the gate locked?” before heading for the parking garage.

Can you hear me now? - The walls are paper thin – this isn’t a con really as many hotels are like this…I just hope you don’t have a frisky elderly couple in the room next to you. I had to shut the balcony door and turn on the TV to drown out the noise. It was pretty funny actually…funnier when I saw them in the hallway the next day and saw that they were indeed in their 80’s. I can only hope to be like them if I reach that age…or perhaps it was a Fatima miracle!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony. You can sit outside and drink wonderful Portuguese wine while watching the pilgrims come and go!

Clean comfortable rooms, accommodating staff (especially Jorge) and decent dinner menu. Only thing I would improve is breakfast - only cordial to drink instead of pure orange and not really a good selection of cereal and fresh fruit. But would recommend this place to anyone going to Fatima
