Went on a five night trip to Lisbon earlier this month. The previous reviews were correct: bus from the airport stops a 2 minute walk from this hotel. A taxi in the morning to the airport is affordable and direct (less than EUR 20). THe metro is a few steps away and is the best way to visit the city efficiently. Rooms are big, clean, and cosy-didn't hear the neighbours. Only negative was that there was no tea or coffee in the room and the breakfast became a little redundant (not many options for non pork eating people). The neighbourhood also felt safe, and the ATMs are nearby as the avenue (ave. Libertade) is a sort of Business hub/Champs Elysees kind of area. Pretty nice walking down this streets that leads to the centre.

We stayed there for one week at the end of march 2012. I can say with all confidence, that this hotel is situated in a very comfortable and good location, near old town. It was a very comfortable place. Staff was very friendly. One day we asked them almost 6-9 questions, and they patiently answered all of them. Thanks them a lot!!! Breakfast was good, but not very interesting) Cakes was good, but other foods weren't changed all week. It was quiet in there. And also the hotel was located not far from airport. So location was very good. The metro station and bus stop, that goes to another side of the town, where the monastery was situated, also were near the hotel! And supermarket was on top of the hiil, on what was the hotel. On the other side, was a very good park, also situated on the hill, from what a very beautiful view on the whole of the city could be seen!
Stay in this hotel, and you will have excelent trip to Lisbon!

This Hotel ticks all the boxes. Excellent staff. Bedroom very good quality and bathroom had up to date fittings with very hot water. Buffet breakfast had lots of both hot and cold dishes to choose from. Enjoyable stay of 3 nights in March 2012.

I stayed here in early March for 4 nights and was delighted to be allocated a quiet room, at the back of the hotel - room 210. The decor was simple, clean and modern with "Ikea" type furniture. The room was bright and overlooked a garden courtyard area with quite a few trees, which was pleasant. Rooms on lower floors at the front of the hotel may have some traffic noise, as there is a very busy road just outside.

The hotel was ideally located for getting around on public transport with buses to Belem and the airport, as well as the metro into the city centre. Bus no 83 takes you to the airport from just outside the hotel and you can use your 1day Lisbon travel ticket (rede pass) costing about 5 euro.

We opted to have breakfast at the hotel and there were plenty of choices from fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal to bacon, egg and sausage. There was a nespresso machine which made great coffee.

Staff at the reception area were friendly and helpful, making this hotel an excellent and reasonably priced place to stay in Lisbon.

Room Tip: Choose rooms to the back of the hotel for peace and quiet.

Staid there in the beginning of March 2012. The hotel is located right on Pombal square where you can catch double-decker sightseeing buses. It is 3* hotel but not a big difference to 4* HF Fenix Urban where I staid also in Feb 2012. Room is big enough and there is enough space to place your suitcase and clothes as well. Smoking rooms available which is rare for Europe.
Staff is rather “sleepy” so check in and check out takes a little bit longer time.
Parking available at 5* HF hotel nearby and costs 9.90 eur for one night which seems to be fair price. Entrance to the parking is not quite wide, but it is still ok as I saw more narrow parking entrances in Europe.
Breakfast quality is good enough and they got a nespresso coffee machine in the breakfast room.
Value for money was good and all in all I could surely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Lisbon.
