It was our second day in Lisbon and wanted to hear some fado. It was about 22PM and not many places were open at the time: as we come in Taverna d'el Rey there is a lady who gives us the impression we have to be fast and order asap because fado has to start. The place is full of locals so we think it's okay. She gave us a menu after she made sure we are all tourists. But we dind't have time to read it, she proposed some small snacks and baked bacalao. Hey, how bad can it be? After an hour of sitting there we had the shock of our lives: 60 euro for bread, olives, salami and 4 pieces of cheese!!!, 35 euro for the fish snack, 5 euro for a glass of Cola and 7.5 euro for a porto glass. The bottle of water was already open, they must have refilled it with tap water. REALLY DISGUSTING!! They probably have 2 menu's, one for tourists and one for locals. Don't ever go there, it's a total RIP-OFF!!!
