The staff make this hotel really great. They went out of their way to give us information required and to assist. Most appreciated ! The room was a good size, with a window towards the back over the courtyards and very quiet, in spite of being next to the lift.. The breakfast room was on the top floor and breakfast self service and very adequate. The furnishings were great. The outside terrace looked extremely inviting, unfortunately the cold wind kept us inside. There are bus and metro connections within easy walking distance ...with the metro having a direct link to the airport. I would recommend this hotel - as long as you are happy not to be directly in the centre of Lisbon. The area is more authentic Lisbon rather than tourist Lisbon.

Room Tip: Higher floors - preferably away from the lift.

Easy booking, easy finding (near metro), high hospitality, clean and neat room and bathroom, good sleeping in a quiet part of town, easy but good breakfast. Everything is working (tv, wifi, shower, etc.)

I'd booked this hotel for one night's stay in Lisbon before an early flight the next day. It was very smart, the receptionist was lovely and very helpful, the room was nice and clean (and new!). The only complaint would be that it was very warm and the air conditioning was not working in May - but I think it was a spell of hot weather in Lisbon too. There's a great little Italian restaurant almost opposite with very reasonably priced meals. Speaking of prices - a word of warning if you are using a taxi from the airport: some drivers will try and charge 17 euros and say it's an airport rate even though the meter says 5 euros!

We had two rooms here for five nights in the week before Easter and I was really pleased with my choice. The location is convenient for the city's excellent Metro system - Alameda (green and red lines) in one directions, Olaias (red) in the opposite. Local pizzaria is excellent although the hotel do room service at very low prices.

Rooms are clean, well maintained, with heating or cooling as needed. Staff are absolutely lovely - especially the receptionist with the 'big hair' who is fantastically enthusiastic. Free Wi-Fi and a fantastic 7th-floor breakfast.

Had everything we needed - good rooms, peace and quiet, wi-fi and English TV channels and superb prices (even in a peak week). Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the back for really quiet nights

from the moment i arrived last year, i was very pleasantly surprised. great welcome from the english speaking staff, who were quick to check me in and lead me straight to my room. the room itself was very comfortable and clean, with all the mod cons. air conditioning, useful safe, hot shower and big bed. i'me very grateful to the friendly cleaner who showed me how to use the swipe card to turn the lights on. i'd highly recommend the hotel to young travellers as well as families and couples. nice and quiet for businesspeople too. the free wifi was very welcome but i had no need as i was out most of the day. i'me just sorry i have taken so long to write a review. hope this helps anyone. thanks for reading.

Room Tip: you are better off choosing a room at the front where you have a balcony and a much better view. the...

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I booked my stay back in August based off of TripAdvisor reviews; but when I looked at another review website only a week before my travel-- I became worried about staying. Absolutely no reason to have worried. The staff was VERY friendly; the room (401) was large with a balcony! Approx. 8-10 euros to get to/from airport/hotel. Metro line (red/green) with a 5-minute walk (downhill, so walking back up to the hotel is necessary). The breakfast had something for everyone; breads, cereals, eggs/sausage, juices/coffee/tea, etc. The cost (3-night stay to include New Years Eve) was very reasonable; included breakfast daily.

Only negative is the WiFi connection is spotty (sometimes non-existent from the 4th floor up); was informed that the hotel is working on getting each floor accessibility. There is a common room on the 1st floor that WiFi works without hesitation!

I would DEFINITELY stay at this hotel on my next trip to Lisbon! Beautiful city, great hotel!

Enjoy!
