Ok, to start with if you want a five star hotel, go across the street. If you want a great bed, fantastic owners that treat you like friends, good showers, and to meet interesting adventurous fellow travellers stay here. The stairs can be a bugger but only when someone younger is coming up behind you and you are trying to beat them to the top! My partner had one unsettled night due to noise and we were offered another room. But she slept fine the next night so we declined to take up the offer. There's even a kitchen and common area to use.....and nobody steals your milk! As I said, its not the Ritz but it is a really great place to stay when in Lisbon. All credit to André and his mate for opening this. I hope its just the same when we come back on the motorbike! Oh and there is free tea and coffee.....but do the washing up!!

This is a very good and economic option for a budget city trip. The rooms are clean, simple and cozy. The atmosphere is informal, laid-back, friendly. They make you feel at home by doing nothing special to make you feel so, which is an admirable quality.
One thing: don't go there if you are having trouble walking stairs; the hotel is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. But for most people this won't be a problem.

Room Tip: Bad sleepers should ask for a room at the back side of the building. It is a little bit noisy in fro...

this is a wunderful guesthouse, the new owners, two young men, do everything to make you feel comfortable. ask for a room at the back, it will be less noisy. it is opposite of the main train station.

good luck , Marie and friend!

Been there for 2 nights, very well located right in the historic center, the staff is very friendly and helpful. clean and safe. Opposite of the Guesthouse there is metro station 25 minutes to the airport(just one change of line). Not for the Fancy type of people since there are shared WC. Perfect if you want an amazingly cheap but clean place in the middle of the action. (correio). There are also kitchen facilities if you want to cook your own meal and free coffee and tea.
I highly recommend it.

Great location and really friendly and helpful staff! Metro, airbus and train are just outside and the sights are in walking distance. Stayed for 5 nights, bed was very comfortable and bed linen was spotless, room was very clean and was about to be renovated. There was a shower in the room, the toilet was shared, but it turned out everything was very clean, there were enough shared bathrooms, so it wasn't an issue at all. My room had a terrace and great view over the Restauradores square. You can also use a living room and a kitchen with all the facilities you may need. In generally, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend it to my friends and anyone who wants to stay in a nice, clean, safe place with really welcoming hosts willing to help in any way possible. And the price is really low compared to the service and attention the new owners offer! The guys are really trying to make you feel happy and satisfied with your stay. Just have in mind that it's on the 4th floor without a lift. And give it a try! :)

If you want to be in the middle of the action, the location is amazing! And the new owners Pedro and Andre go above and beyond to make sure your needs are taken care of. It's a very clean, safe and friendly environment. We were sad to leave and will definitely come back! This place is awesome and the owners are so kind! Central to bus, train and metro!

Great location, lovely people, comfortable space and friendly attitude towards the guests.

We are a one-liner kinda of couple and we love enriching experiences, even in hostels.
The city itself has quite the vibe and staying at the center of it all does help to organize your smooth but "dessassossegado" lifestyle, specially if you love hanging out at quite the spots like Príncipe Real, Gulbenkian, the Cinemathéque, Cais Sodré, etc.

This said, stay at this place at ease, all is good.
