We thought this was an excellent place to stay, near all the sights, restaurants and attractions. Everything you need for a short break. Great to have kitchen area and coffee bar downstairs is unique in Lisbon. Would definitely recommend.

I had a "medium" appartement on 2nd floor. The room was quite small, the doublebed oversized and good. An Apple-PC + I-Pad were in the room, also a turntable for records (!). The bathroom was completely new restored with finest equipment. The Hotel ist very clean, good organized, friendly clerks. The lobby is situated in a cafe, its interiors remind of a "british club", very nice!
The Hotel ist located really excellent for exploring the city. Most sights in walking distance, Metro 3 minutes away. As it is in the midst of pedestrian-zones, you have a lot of streetmusicians, that can be very noisy during the afternoon and evening. earplugs recommendable.
Breakfast ist not included, but available at the groundfloor cafe, where it is rather expensive. Much cheaper is to have breakfast in one of the countless "pastellerias" around, expecially when you take your breakfast standing at the counter, as the Lisboaens do (very very good sweets + cakes).

I really wanted to like it here. The location is great and the rooms are beautiful with modern decor and having a computer in each room was a nice touch and very convenient.

But I cannot give it a good review. We stayed here for 4 nights. It was cold in the room but not freezing (by my Husbands standards). We asked if there was heating in the room and we were told to use the air conditioner as it heats as well. Thus mistake caused the room to be even more cold and both of us catching colds at the beginning of our Europe trip.

For one last night due to some planning issues we were asked to move to another room beside it. This room faces the street (as opposed to a brick wall). For some reason the windows felt and sounded like it was open all night with construction, people shouting, and garbage trucks and felt like it with a light breeze. The thermostats was also broken here and flashing with an error message just like in the previous room. It was colder in here because if the windows.

Also in the rooms are a turntable and and ipad. Not sure what they do as the ipad cannot be removed or used.

When you ask about the temperature at the from desk they are the managing receptionist or manager. They couldn't really help us.

I did like the idea of the stove to make breakfast. There is also a laundry machine but you'll have to get your own detergent.

I would recommend only saying here in the summer.

Downtown Lisbon, so in the middle of where it's all happening. The coffee shop on the ground floor is a grest place to meet all kinds of people. Good coffee, good wines.
The room was wonderful with good beds.

We chose the suite on the 5th floor, as we could see on the website that the other rooms looked quite small. The suite is spacious with a great view over the rooftops to the castle on the hill. We would stay here again.

I was very surprised with this place!Great Deco and location, cosy rooms, great coffee shop downstairs!
Stayed there a few times and in different room types!medium size are better because they are bigger and with bigger washroom!one of them even had a vinyl player, smart tv and so on!really really great!
Coffee shop downstairs great for breakfast and for a afternoon tea after walking in Lisbon for the all afternoon!
The only negative side of this hotel was Internet sometimes was not working and in one of the rooms the bed was not comfy but the staff helped us with that!
Still it's a great place to stay and good value for money!

This is a great place to Stay in this great city. We loved the Downstairs chilled out Cafe style lounge and the Breakfast was particularly well served. Awesome location just outside the Chiado shops and Tube station.

The Style and overall decor was first class, the rooms stunning and very clean with beautiful bathrooms and facilities, We had not only an iPad but also a rather nice iMac for internet browsing and finding out stuff to do,

Can't wait to get back thanks
