A beautifully tiled restaurant with the freshest fish and shellfish on display upon entering. Super Bock on Draft served in a large glass, Nice wine list. Started with beer all around for 4, while we looked over the menu and a bottle of wine for our meal.

The two soups, fish and vegetable were both delicious. We love fish and the whole grilled octopus, the grilled lobster, and the codfish were each the best we ever had. Service was a little cool at first, English not easy here, but as we ordered, drank and laughed, the service improved measurably.

2 shared deserts, 3 Croft Ports and 1 Croft Brandy were very good. The bottles were near empty so they just left them on the table for us to finish off. Then they decided that we needed some more desert, we had been there about 2 hours, and they brought us 4 pieces of very good cake on the house. This would have been a 250 euro lunch easily in Paris or Rome. Here it was 122 euro for 4 people with great food and plenty to drink over several hours. We're here for another 9 days and they're going to see plenty of us.

The menu looks good, but the execution is nothing special. The appetizer order was lost. When the entree's arrived the waiter didn't catch it and was less than apologetic about it. And the food was decent although, again, not more than adequate with regard to all dishes. I headed back to my hotel for desert, coffee, and better service.

Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We saw somebody leaving the place, and the glimpse of the seafood display through the door impressed us enough to come in. The prices looked quite affordable, so we just started ordering everything that caught the eye, and the waiter stopped us explaining these were not tapas dishes, but normal full-sized plates:) And so they were, big portions of delicious local food with vinho verde. As most of reviewers said, the bill for two people will hardly reach 50 euro mark, and the evening will leave many pleasant memories.

We had dinner here on a rainy evening. The restaurant ambience was very welcoming and the decor very appealing. We watched our meats being grilled and were very pleased with the results. Soup before the dinner was very tasty also. Not being familiar with the wines we went with the house wine and were pleasantly surprised at the quality. Would recommend this restaurant in the heart of Lisbon.

I strongly advise something that you probably will not notice in the menu. Ask for a 2 persons meal saying you want a big sea fish cooked in salt.
You will be delighted. The waiter takes all the bones out of the fish and the fish flavor, because was cooked in a salt shell is delicious
