I know, you can eat more or less the same for half the price in Lisbon but you won't get the atmosphere, the tablecloths, the napkins and service you get here. Ok the young waiters are professionally enthousiastic in the hope to get a tip but rather that than uninterested staff. You like it or you don't I guess. And yes the wine and brandy are overpriced (what you'd expect to pay in Germany, Belgium, England or Holland) for Portugal but anyone can read the prices ... Except for the brandy maybe but hey you're on holiday aren't you?
One little remark is that the dishes came to quickly to our liking. A bit more time beween starter and main would have been nice. We paid 108 euro for two starters, two mains(well prepared steak), two glasses of wine, a brandy and two coffees. Not cheap for Lisbon but we found it reasonable.
