This newcomer in the Chiado district of Lisbon has won my heart. We were directed to Colcci by a local who recommended it and the recommendation could not have been more spot on. it's fabulous. The staff is very attentive and did not seem to mind reading the all Portuguese menu to us. The menu has plenty of selections but be sure that everything served is fresh as is the preparation. While there's a definite Italian theme, the kitchen's approach is fresh and creative. We tred to order two Caprese salads and two pasta dishes and he assured us that it would be too much food for two people. He convinced us that we should split the pasta dish - which proved to be more than ample. No room for any of the desserts although they looked inviting. I'm sure this restaurant will prove to be a winner with both locals and tourists alike. You won't be disappointed if you give it a try.
