The staff here were just wonderful.

The food is great. large portions beautifully served & very well priced. Good drinks menu and fun 'sister' bar around the corner if you feel like going somewhere afterwards.

Really enjoyed this place & intend on returning again & again!

We had a lovely meal in this tiny restsurant in the heart of Bairro Alto. The staff were excellent and made us feel right at home. To start we shared a beautiful sardine bruscetta (definitely big enough for two) and for main I had the salt cod and my partner had pork with potatoes and pineapple (it really worked!) We shared a lovely bottle of Portugese white recommended by the staff and a pasties de natas for pudding. We were then given a complementary white port, all under €50, and had a thoroughly enjoyable first night in beautiful Lisbon!

We eat the 21/4/14 there folowing notes on trip advisor. What a deception.
It is not a restaurant at all, at best the small kitchen for beginners of a portugese nice lady. Not even a real oven, just a small grill and a micro wave.

The menu is very small, but even by showing on it what we wanted the waiter managed to make errors : 2 mistakes on 3 main courses.
Starters are expensive and portion smalls (we took cheese plate and melon/ham). And everything is swimming in olive oil even the melon...

Main course could be original (fish with garlic cheese and herbs) but with a bad fish and a 50 cents peace of cheese you dont to a great plate. And still expensive and oily.
I took sirloin pork with honey and cheese, it ended with a peace of bacon and one of pineapple under melted cheese... only good thing the rice was ok.

Only one kind of beer, and half botle of water fir the price of big ones.

Then to finish we ask to pay, and as it was the first time than i paies as much to eat ear i did not hace enough cash...so i proposed my card but the lady said nobody is taking card in barrio alto so i had to do a 10mn trip to a bank to withdraw money and finally get away...

Just fir the record the restaurant close to that one takes cards, as many others, despite that lady told me no restaurants here takes cards.

Last but not least, we ended elsewhere to eat some deserts and finish the evening with something nice in the stomach.

Si the place is cosy, lady could be nice, but dont expect to have a decent meal here

Reasonable food, good service and good decor. The place is very small and the prices could be a little cheaper. There were no locals.
