The room was definitely Ok! Spacious and clean. The beds are a bit hard though, and the internet connection was a bit unstable. It's a fair walk to the city centre, but it's close to the metro station 'Anjos', which is very convenient. The area is quiet, nothing is really going on there. The staff was not that service-minded, and the breakfast was served in their basement, which was a bit claustrophobic to be honest. By the way they had the second worst coffee that I have tasted in my entire life.

This hotel is great: New, clean, modern and close to a subway station.
The location is good, but you will surely need to walk a few minutes to the closest subway (5 minutes to Anjos). There is a convenience store just a few steps from the hotel, very useful!
The room is very good, spacious, clean, modern as well as the bathroom. Everything smelling as NEW!
Breakfast was good, it could only have more options.
The rate is the best comparing to other 4 stars.
The reception was not the most helpful, but the staff from restaurant and housekeepers were great.
I would definetly stay at this hotel next time I go to Lisboa.

Overall very good hotel but not in a great area, very run-down and poor side of the city.
we seen a lot of homeless people roughing it in this area and a lot of
dilapidated buildings , even though the hotel is very modern.
the metro is only a 2 min walk and bus service is outside the front door.
otherwise its 30-40 min walk to the main attractions
The hotel its self is very nice, clean, bright and modern, the room was ok size
and has Wifi, no tea coffee, the bathroom is fine but the shower doors don't close
fully so the floor floods easily, this is quite annoying as its an easy fix.
very comfy beds , nice and hard as we like , and the chamber maid was very nice,
as for the front line staff in reception, well i cant say much for them,
i am curious do the hotel managers interview these people at all? because they are
not suited to deal with the public WHAT SO EVER!!!!!!
I asked politely for directions to the hop-on hop off starting point and he basically
told me to get the metro, no more info such as if you are on foot go this way etc.......
like all the other reviews this is what fails this lovely hotel. such a pity.
they have zero interest and don't even greet you with hello !!!!!!!!! just contempt.
not acceptable at all these days even if it is a 2 star !!!!!
anyway breakfast is just ok,tiny tables, the usual continental without any fruits and certainly
no trimmings, and the staff down here could do with some customer relation crash course also.
the coffee is not good, powder stuff from a machine,
Overall its a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
Just the staff need upgrading and that's really it, it deserves more than 2 stars
Do the red bus tour , its a must for all young and old. 18euro for 24 hour ticket,
and has 2 routes blue and red line.

Room Tip: get a room with a balcony , but there is little view, to the front is very noisy early in the mornin...

I stayed in this hotel with my mum for three nights. The room was very nice decorated as well as the bathroom. Definitely more than 2*. But what was only 2* was the breakfast. There were no fresh fruits and the coffee was only some instant from machine, that really wasn't good. The stuff was regular. The location is pretty good, just a few minutes from the metro station that goes to the city center something more than five minutes. To sum up, I can really recomend this hotel to somebody who is planning to be all days out and then spend only nights in the hotel, because there is nothing to do. But for this money, it's the best 2* hotel you can find.

These was a good hotel, the room was very clean, spacious enough for three guests with all the facilities one would need, including good air-con and English TV, as well as a safe.

The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English.

The hotel was located up a hill, but it was very close to the metro. The walk from the main city was only 25 minutes and not strenuous.

We would definitely recommend this hotel, and it seems to rate more than its 2*.

Hotel with more then 2*, but from my experience it's 4* hotel.

Check-in: was simple and easy, all papers were prepared and whole procedure lasted few minutes.

Room: Very very nice room, equipped with more then 2* hotel. I must say that many 4* hotels have totally same room amenities as Luxe hotel. We got very spacious room, and I think that other rooms are little bit smaller, but absolutely functional. Wooden floor is really nice, with no dirty carpets. Bed is comfortable, TV and WiFi(free) are good.Bathroom is also very nice, more then I expected, with walk-in shower.

Breakfast: This is only thing which has 2*. Little bit poor: coffee, milk, juice (concentrated orange), few kinds of bread, few slices of ham and cereals. But I must say that it's enough to grab few bits and take first coffee in the morning.

Location: Not in the city center, but not so far from Rossio square (approximately 1,5km). Also, there is Anjos metro station (about 300m).

Check-out: Also fast and easy.

Stuff: nice and helpful, really ready to help and fulfill our requests.

All in all, nice and clean little hotel and I'm going to come back. Also I'll recommend it to my friends.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on higher floor, you'll get better view.

My partner and I booked this through British Airways Holidays having read the Trip Advisor reviews. We were glad we did. It was clean, comfortable, conveniently located for the metro and bus services and as a starting point for walking around the city. And Lisbon is a city which really should be walked around.
The staff on arrival were perfectly polite and helpful. The only negative was breakfast, where we were served the only bad coffee we had in Lisbon and the fruit juice too was not great. Worth going to one of the cafes nearby.
