This hotel is in a great location, is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Our main reasons for choosing this hotel were the sauna, steam room, pool and gym and they were wonderful.

We looked for a long time to get a nice luxurious hotel for the weekend but this was not it.
Just about everything in this hotel was below par, nothing worked quite right. From the curtains not quite covering the windows letting in sunlight, to noise, to poorly designed bathroom areas, very small rooms for the money, breakfast being sparse and serviced by inexperienced kids with no customer service skills. Other than that, it was decent and you could stay here and not have a major problem if you got it cheap, under $100/ night. It's at best 3 stars in an Irish, British or American standard.

This is a modern hotel, integrally refurbished with flat screen tv, AC, wifi and a nice spa associated to old style with luggage service, bar and newspapers, and excellent breakfast.
Rooms are spacious and modern, bathrooms are functional and clean, the spa is large enough and offers everything it should, breakfast offers a large choice of dishes, everything fresh.
There is not much to complain about, except perhaps the following minor points, some of which could be improved:
-There is no proper separation between the bathroom and the room. While this might not be everybody's cup of tea, I must say it does also confer some openness to the room and some touch of holiday and southern style. It did not really bother me, but I did not fully appreciate it either. Would have preferred a proper door on the lavatory and some hooks to put your towel on.
-The location of the hotel is not right in the city center, the neighborhood is a bit boring.
-Staff could be a bit friendlier and more professional.
-The spa is far down in the basement and it's a bit on the small side, though very clean and there is everything to make it a full spa. Gives you the feeling to be deep inside a cave. I liked it, however, I wonder if there is no security issue.
-There is an access to the roof including another bar, however this seems to be closed in winter time.

I would recommend this hotel and would definitely return. Excellent value for money. However, would try to find more central next time. Merits its four stars.

Great hotel, great location if you like to walk places, rooms are small but you get used to it as they are well designed. Great food and service and well priced compared to the more bigger and branded Lisbon properties. Good day spa as well - I will be back!

Good place to stay and visit Lisbon on foot..close to all commodities both for shoping and sightseeing tours.
Difficult to get to if you come by car as GPS does not recognize the number of the street which is divided into two long sections. Had to stop and ask several times inorder to get there.
Nice rooms but would have liked to have the bathroom totally seperate from bedroom with a real door...no venting in the bathroom and no privacy from the other person. Other than this aspect everything else was great!

Room Tip: choose room on back side if you like quiet and windows open

Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. Breakfast is great, worth extra 13 euros we paid. Convenient location. Indoors smoking area. Rooms are clean and spacious. Nice receiving good night candy. :) if your room is not warm enough just ask the receptionist to adjust it. One thing though, the elevator doors close quickly, be careful especially with children.
