See Lisboa away from Tram 28 and the big bus tours! Rodrigo showed us his Lisboa with energy and excitement that can only shine through in a small group. It was a beautiful and sunny November afternoon and we took full advantage in the convertible jeep. Rodrigo is interactive and eager to answer our questions the entire afternoon. Two buildings survived the 1755 EQ. There are only 6 hills in Lisboa (ask him.) Fun, exciting, educational. HIGHLY recommend this unique way to visit and learn about Lisboa!!

The day was 29 November. My husband and I were treated by a great friend Rodrigo - although that was the first time we were in Lisbon, and the first time we met the guy. We had great fun in Sintra, then Cascais and Belem. Good food, lovely company and excellent service. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending Rodrigo to anyone. Love we-hate-tourism-tours!

Our first tour was the King of the Hills with Miguel. He is so full of energy, talks passionately about his town Lisboa. A bit crazy but since we're crazy too, it was only more fun. Miguel is a professional who knows how to enjoy people. We ended this tour with a lovely dinner @ Zapata, a crowded local restaurant which was recommended by Miguel (if you want to eat there, make sure you have a table before 19.30). Had a great day/night with Katya and William from the tour.

The second tour supposed to be Cascais and Sintra with Miguel but he became sick. He suggested to do the X-day tour with Tiago. We didn't regret at all. Although we did see some of the places with the King of Hills tour, this time we saw the views from a brighter and sunnier perspective. Tiago is also a very nice guy to hang around with. Like Miguel, he also knows to tell the history, stories about his town with so much passion. This tour is including snacks and drinks which is much appreciated. We invited Tiago to have dinner with us. He brought us to a typical local restaurant. My gosh, how we loved the atmosphere, food and poncha liquor of Madeira. Tiago and Miguel can be seen as our Portuguese brothers for live.

Guys, you rock! Keep up the good work. Have fun with doing the tours. Hopefully we can come back asap and see the shop of WHTT, hang around there.

People, I can strongly recommend you to book the tours with WHTT. You can be sure you get the "worst" time of your life in Lisbon. Men, watch out for those plumbers and women, let them fix everything your husband tried to repair :D

Went on the Dinner Tour with Marcos. There were 5 of us on the tour in total and everyone seemed to have a great time. We started with dinner at a local Portuguese restaurant about 15 minutes drive from the centre of town. We were able to sample many different dishes during the meal and Marcos made sure everyone had plenty to eat and drink. After dinner we toured around Lisbon by minibus and on foot. As well as visiting a number of different bars we took in a spectacular view of Lisbon at night and also squeezed in and saw part of a Fado evening at another local restaurant. In the end the tour took about 7 hours and Marcos was kind enough to drop people off at the end as the Metro service had finished.

Fantastic tour of Lisbon. Spent a full day seeing plenty of noteworthy sites accross the city. Great way to orientate yourself, with spectacular views from the Cristo Rei, taking in the beaches of the southern coasts. The food was a great introduction to Portuguese cuisine.

Tiago the tour operator was brilliant, very knowledgeable and easy going.

Highly recommend this tour, especially if you are new to the city, and would suggest you take the tour early in your stay, as it helps you understand the geography of the city!
