This hotel is well located and the apartments also feature a mini kitchenette. The breakfast buffet didn't look good so we just picked our own stuff at the mini market 2 blocks away - that was perfect.
The shower was one of the most ackward we've ever seen - all open with no curtain or glass - so the bathroom was basically covered with water by the end of your shower...that wasn't fun.
The rooftop features a hot tub but the water was pretty dirty so we didn't dare going in it.
No free internet access so we went to the other Altis next door to get free wifi access in the lobby.
Neutral experience, nothing wow but location is great.

We booked a premium suite last-minute on booking.com ....great rate, considering the rack rates on display at check-in. Perfect configuration for our party of 5... we certainly appreciated the 2 bathrooms, enormous king beds, lovely French toiletries, living area and kitchenette. The location is nice and peaceful....maybe a 10/15 min walk to centre. No noise. Only complaints would be parking charges.... better to park on street after 7pm and move car before 9am...except on Sundays, when street parking is free. Also, no pool on site...need to walk around the block to Altis Hotel to access their pool which is a little dated, but otherwise OK.

Stayed for a long weekend in a Deluxe Suite and it was fantastic. Loved the apartment, even had a small kitchen with a microwave and cooker. Staff were excellent and very friendly. The roof sundeck with Jacuzzi is an added bonus. The supplied breakfast was very good although the dining area is not very large. The only downside was that there wasn’t a corkscrew in the room but, even then, a member of the bar staff came up to the room to open the bottle for us. Highly recommended and we would definitely go back again.

A sleek modern apartment hotel, done out in muted greys and beige, which apparently has one lots of design awards, but obviously these were not awarded by anyone who had actually stayed there--Nothing works! The list is long: In the 'office' area at the hallway there was a desk, and a (un-lightable)standard lamp.... and not a plug socket anywhere to plug in your laptop or even the standard lamp! In the kitchen area it's impossible to use the work surface, sink or hob with out cracking your head on the over-hanging wall cupboards. The kitchen tap floods the work-surface, and the hob is erratic. In the bathroom it is impossible to run a bath without climbing into the bath to reach the taps and plug. The first time I did this i removed my shoes to climb in the bath, to turn on the taps, but was then drenched, fully clothed, by the large overhead shower. The controls hadn't been switched to bath and there was nothing to tell you which was which! There is no plug in the sleek modern basin, so my contact lenses were in danger of going down the plug hole unless I remembered to cover it with my face flannel. The TV boasts a selection of 39 channels, but only about 25 of these work and 15 of those are sports channels! So for an English speaking guest who isn't a sports fanatic the choice is very poor, BBC world was listed but was never available over a period of about 12 days, as was CNN. There are no drama, film, entertainment or classical music channels whatsoever. The rooms are dark with little natural light, and the lighting controls are unfathomable! On the plus side it is wonderful to have a bit of space...and to be able to make a cup of tea or delicious Nespresso from the provided machine ( watch your head though!)....the beds are very comfortable, and the bed linen beautiful. But the one really redeeming factor about this apart-hotel... the staff. Jose and all the waiters are just brilliant, and couldn't do enough to help, and the reception staff are similarly welcoming and helpful. Designers should try living in their designs... they might realise then just how impossible they are. Obviously a lot of money has been spent here, I would argue that it has not been spent on the right things, design over substance. A disappointing design, but a welcoming comfortable place in a great location

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper ask for a room to the courtyard behind... the rooms looking onto the 2...

We had a studio and it was exactly like the pictures. The roof deck with sun chairs and the jacuzzi was great! you can have lunch on the roof deck for a democratic price. The service is great; you can get good and friendly advice at the reception about public transport in Lissabon ..., room service was great, the breakfast was good (fresh orange juice, fruit, croissants...). There are some nice restaurants nearby and the hotel is nearby Avenida Liberdade (nice but expensive shops) and public transport. We loved our stay in Altis Prime; the only thing that can be improved is the fact that you don't get a towel for the dishes in the kitchenette (and nothing to do the dishes with).
The swimming pool you can go to at the hotel Altis (the next building) is not that attractive.
We can recommend Altis Prime!

Front desk staff seems a bit aloof but one guy (who at first glance seemed apathetic) got stuff done. A bit noisy from the cars on front side, didn't bother me but my bf is a light sleeper so needed earplugs. Thankfully we were able to change to an interior room after the first night. Wifi €20 per day but on the front of the building you can access FON ZON hotspot for €3/day which I'm assuming is a big cell phone co or something. Loved the room, thankfully the pictures don't lie. Nice to be able to prepare breakfast and have a dining area. Liked the living room separation as well. Good location, just a relatively short walk to the attractions (but beware Lisbon has a lot of hills). There is a gym and indoor pool available for guest use at the neighboring hotel. Excellent hair dryer- ceramic, German made, might even be better than the one I have at home :).

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper, request an interior room.

unfortunately we couldn't make our trip to Lisbon tomorrow because of bad service by ab-in-den-urlaub. Although we cancelled within 24 hours. Altis Prime cancelled our reservations without penalty. We find this very generous end be happy to thank thim this way.
