After 6 summer vacations in a row spent in this wonderful city, we have eventually got some experience with the restaurants it has to offer. There have been some bad ones, many, many mediocre, and then a few really really good ones. This one definitely belongs in the latter group. Exiting menu, well prepared, well presented and without costing a fortune, this will for sure be a place we will return for more.

We stayed in the hotel near the restuarant. And went there two times. We planed to visit different restaurants, but liked this one a lot and decided to return. The waiters there are realy nice. they did not have russian menu, but the waiter explained all very good in english and it helped us to make choice. They have delicious fish food and soups. Portions are big, we wanted to try dessert, but were full, so did not do that. I think it is one of the best places in Lisbon.

The place has it's own Bistro identity. The atmosphere is really trendy and relaxed... a mixture of Bistro and Portuguese "tasca".
The menu is really balanced with interesting combination of flavors. Seen several meat dishes being server to the tables next to us with generous portions. The menu also offers healthy fish and vegetarian courses and pastas.
I tried the Argentinian rib eye steak and it was really tasty and cooked to perfection.
For the quality of the food I didn't find it expensive at all.

We were so pleased when we found this wonderful restaurant on our last night - wish we'd found it earlier. It is lovely and quaint inside, with lots of candles and strange things around, but that's one of the things which made it wonderful.

The food is excellent although the menu is a little different from the one on their own web site.

I ordered a Dry Martini and lemonade. They had no lemonade, strange but anyway, so one of the waiters went out to get some. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I couldn't understand why it wasn't full, but at least we got a table.

Many thanks to those who were working that night, it made our evening.

Trigo Latino has a very different menu from the typical "tascas" in Lisbon, that mostly serve the same types of dishes. The place is beautiful, and in summertime it is possible to sit outside in almost darkness and enjoy your meal. It is a romantic atmosphere.

The food is creative and very good. We started out with a cold cucumber soup, with bits of bacon wrapped in dark chocolate. Original and fresh.
Then a starter made of fresh mushrooms fried. The main course was the ancho Steak from Uruguay. Wheter it is from Uruguay or not, I do not know. But it was juicy and delicious, and enough for 2 to share if you have starters etc.

I recommend Trigo Latino, and place it up there with one of my 10 favourite places to eat in Lisbon. A value-for money experience.
