We stayed at the HF Fenix Urban (reviewed separately) and wanted a decent restaurant within a short walking distance after a long touring day. O Cardo was the ticket at less than a block away. We had the flaming sausage appetizer which was a very generous portion shared by two and so good, one of the favorite things I ate in Portugal. My husband then had the Shrimp spaghetti and I had the Spaghetti Bolognese. Both were very good. The meat sauce was excellent, if perhaps a little salty but I prefer less salt than some. We both had a Superbock beer. We had the "cover" of bread and olives. The total came to 25 Euros before tip. Some of their seafood was pricey but they had many options on the menu for all price brackets. Service was friendly (one gentleman was gruff but he spoke little English so I think that was the reason and unfortunately we don't speak Portuguese). We would return.
