We went straight to "Aqui Há Peixe" as it was strongly recommended by a very good and traveled friend. And we were extremely happy we did so. I read a few reviews on TripAdvisor and understand that there are mixed experiences. Ours was an unforgettable one. Chef Miguel Reino was on one of his most inspired days and we benefitted from his delicious food, open smile and great simpathy. We had a fish filet ("picanha de tamboril") on lemon sauce, carrot rice and vegetables ("grelos ao vapor") and a rice with squids and shrimps. For dessert, the Portuguese "encharcada" (eggs, sugar and all sins your scale may appoint). It was heaven in Lisbon! Enjoy!

This was a restaurant we were curious to know, but it was very disappointing. The price was way too high for what we had, the staff was very nice but the lady who owns the restaurant wasn’t.
Lisbon is crowded with much better options!

An excellent recommendation by our hotel. They specialize in fish and seafood dishes, and the wait staff is very friendly. It was expensive but felt authentic and was worth it.

Under the excellent command of a true fisherman Miguel,The food is 5 Michelline Stars standard, the quality enveloped in a professional service glued together like the mechanism of a Swiss clock. Its more than value for money. Some dishes can be tailor made to suit some special needs.I must say,had the best dinner in a very jovial atmosphere!!

We (4 adult tourists) came across this fish restaurant by accident but had a very bad experience. The fish was poor and expensive. Worse, one person was not well the next day. Of the 3 starters ordered, the cheapest and simplest (the "titbit of the day" - mackerel) was by far the best and yet ultimately very ordinary. The staff clearly believe in their own brilliance, for example ribbing those who ordered a main dish of pasta with shrimp and scallops. The scrimp in it was just OK but the scallops were overcooked and tasteless. The main octopus dish was utterly mediocre and the vegetables terrible. The worst main course was the most expensive - robola (which they described as bass) - accompanied by the awful vegetables, and most of it was not eaten. The "sauce" for this fish, much discussed by the staff at ordering, never arrived, and when reminded it turned out to be a simple vinegarette. Some of the fish being served at other tables looked attractive, which made us wonder what exactly was going on. We read the positive reviews here afterwards and are totally puzzled. It seems to be a PR success. At the end of the meal, nobody even bothered to ask did we like the meal - they could detect our dissatisfaction but could not care less. They have obviously mastered PR rather than culinary excellence.
