Lovely fountain in the centre of Lisbon, on any tour you will be doing of the city. Very close to the oldest bar that serves the tiny shots of the cherry liquour that is a "must try" while in Portugal.

Nice square in the centre of Lisbon. The figures on the pathway and the fountain are very nice. You can also see the Teatro Nacional in one side and in the other side you can enjoy the typical Fried Cod Fish Balls in any of places around.

Nice square in the central with lots of cafes and shops. A nice big water fountain in the middle. And the best bifana by the end on the left near the veapon shop.

Where all the roads go :), it's quite easy to get to, have some food and drinks and start your trip all over Lisbon, either by foot or by car, tram, metro, hop-on-hop-off, etc.
Quite nice to visit in the evening too, gets quite romantic :) though crowded at times...

Lovely square to sit, sip good wine, eat good food and watch the world go by. This had several good restaurants around the square. The Italian restaurant was the best for ice cream (large ice sundaes) mmmmmmmmmmm, good food and friendly service. Didn't find them any more expensive even though they were at the square. Found the prices were about the same as you pay in Glasgow for decent restaurant.
