A very good location: a quiet residential street off of main ????, 120 m from subway Avenida and Airport bus Close to everything. Terrific staff, especially front desk speaking flawless English (French, German as well). A sumptuous if expensive breakfast (if you don’t mind paying 5-6 Euro extra across the street). A generous size room even by American standards, with a lovely interior, room-controlled AC, and coffee/tea. Plenty of every day changed towels (even washcloths). The beds are comfortable as well as pillows. The price seemed to be high BUT it was well worth! Will stay there again if in Lisbon.

In the center, close to everything, you can walk everywhere. To baixa, bairro alto, castle, rossi,   chiado, alfama or marques, all are less then 15 minutes walking, Forget the hills and walnk, Lisbon is a wonder walking place.

We stayed in Lisbon for 4 nights and feel in love with Lisbon and Britania Hotel.

The hotel is in a great location. It’s a 20 minute walk to Barrio Alta (which is the best spot for bars/restaurants). We walked up the hills and steps, so it is likely less time if you opt to take the tram.

There is also great shopping nearby (Escada, LV and Prada are just around the corner from the hotel). It seemed to be a wealthy area and we felt very safe walking home after a night out.

They were very accommodating and were very good at sending us to restaurants and shops that best fit our needs. We told the hotel we wanted to find a wine shop so we can have a glass of wine before dinner. When we got back to our room that afternoon we found that they placed a bottle of port in our room for us to enjoy.

We decided to get the terrace room and it was a great choice. The doors were the full size of the hotel room and opened up to the patio. It made the room have an inside/outside feel.

I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.

A very elegant boutique hotel in Lisbon. Very good service with a fantastic breakfast, the best we had in Europe. We went with our son and the room was excelent as it had a 'anex' where the extra bed was installed (at least for our room, num 31). It all with reasonable prices

Fantastic boutique hotel. Highly recommend! I was on my own for a business trip from Canada and was so happy at what a safe, luxurious, and friendly hotel this was. The friendly staff would call me by name when I dropped my key off in the morning at the front desk, all of my requests (cab calls, excursions etc) were carried out efficiently and accurately. I didn't have to worry about a thing. The room was very clean, with marble floors and beautiful hardwood floors throughout and much larger than most other European hotel rooms I've stayed at. Password protected WIFI was included. Luxury toiletries were awesome too! The location is excellent- central and right behind the major high-end boutique shopping street. There is a small grocery store across the street for things like pastries, water, even wine and beer. A quick 5 min downhill walk to Rossio Square. Lisbon itself is a great city to take some time to explore. Great seafood, friendly local people, bring a good pair of walking shoes given the hills and cobblestones. Thanks for an awesome stay- can't wait to go back and bring my husband next time! Definitely recommend taking a day trip to Sintra and Estoril!!

It deserves the reviews on here. An execellent hotel, close to all amenities. I had a top floor modern terrace room, excellent modern comfortable facilites. Staff were really helpful, making recommendations for restaurants and guiding us on where to go. All spoke excellent English, even the doorman! It's a small boutique hotel, but wins out over a lot of 5* chains I have stayed in in other cities.

Room Tip: I had 64, terrace room. Not much of a view, but essential if you smoke as rooms are all non smoking.
