It may be where the beautiful people go, but certainly isn't where the beautiful service or food is.
I've just been on a foodie weekend to Lisbon and I have to say out of the five restaurants we visited, this was the biggest (and only) disappointment by a country mile - each of the other four eateries were absolutely superb - this was just 'vin ordinaire'..
The food wasn't actually that bad, (although I could have cooked every dish at home to a better standard) but by no means good or memorable, when compared to the service which was putting it simply, 'rubbish' - zero attention to detail, sloppy and inattentive.
The problem is, I think, that Largo has absolutely no soul which permeates right from the kitchen, to the bar to the waiting staff. No one seemed to care one iota - it was the sort of place that just wants your money. Not an ounce of enthusiasm - about as much as a starving mouse finding the only piece of cheese to eat is in a rather unpleasant looking trap.
Such a pity, as with firm direction and spirit from the top it could be so so much better. It needs a visit by Michel Roux or other luminary who would take it to pieces, but in a constructive way, and with a few firm tips and strong advice whip it into shape.
Until that happens don't even consider wasting your money, there are so many more really fine places to eat in Lisbon, which to me is a food lovers heaven.
