We stayed at this hotel during Easter and found it to be clean, bright and very modern. Rooms were spacious, ours had large twin beds but we were offered a double bed as soon as we checked in. The television has, unusually, plenty of English speaking channels so after a long day out we could unwind with a little TV watching.

Breakfast was fine and offered a good choice. Sometimes items ran out but they were replenished and the girls in the restaurant were happy to go and get anything you asked for. We found all of the staff to be very pleasant.

The hotel is very close to the airport so you could almost wave to the passengers on board as the planes passed so close but with the windows closed we were not bothered by any noise.

The hotel is out of town and there are hardly any restaurants near by. We ate in the hotel on the first night which was ok but nothing exciting. The metro station is very close by and we travelled up and down to different areas each day and evening. Very tiring having to climb up and down steps all day to get to the different stations but we managed.

I would recommend the hotel for the good rooms, bright modern feel and good breakfast but be warned; you do have to travel into the centre to see the sights.

Room Tip: We asked for a low floor but were on he 8th floor, there were , however, 2 lifts so this was not a p...

This was a wonderful quiet pleasant hotel to stay at despite being in the heart of Lisbon and close to the airport and also central for any tours you might be interested in joining. Not only were we very pleased with the hotel itself, and the rooms but i also wish to tell you about our tour by Toursbylocals with our guide Paulo Coelho. He took us on a tour of both Sintra and Lisbon for one day, met us at the hotel and was concerned that we had the best day and saw as much as possible. Driving us in his own car thus leaving us free to site see, he was always attentive to our every wish and comfort and we thoroughly enjoyed the day with him and of his own volition extending our day to six oclock to show us more attractions. I would give him the highest recommendation possible especially after having been on several private tours in other parts of the world. Sharing his price with another couple made the tour very reasonable for us and a great way to see the city and as a person who likes to see castles and palaces this was a great tour.

Nicely located 10 minutes away by Taxi ( 8 euros ) from airport; and a block away from both the COMBOIOS and the METRO this hotel is a great value; the room is normal size. The rooms were extremely stuffy; my friend from Brazil ( who lives in 105F ) even stated that the rooms were soo warm. Not sure how the A/C would be during the summer. We moved rooms; staff was nice to let us move the rest of our bags the following morning. The breakfast is mediocre really low quality food. Stayed at other NH hotels in the past and they had been better than this one. Was expecting a better hotel. Maybe the liberdade location is better? Anywho, I emphasize that the staff was extremely nice and accomodating. Would probably not stay here again due to the rooms being quite warm.

It's hotel room is clean specially floors and bed. The bed is Very comfortable and we good a good sleep, the staff is friendly and provided a clean crib for our baby. It is located within steps to the bus stop that takes you to the airport, and close to the underground metro. Included is wifi, but it is not that fast.

They have onsite parking for 11 euros, but you can get parking across the street for cheap. If you leave the parking lot before 745 am. You don't have to pay as the gate is up and you can drive out. If you leave after that time but got a ticket going into the lot then just go to the kiosk and ask to pay for the way out, they only charge you from the beginning of the day. Do the math as to which option is cheapest for you. We parked 3 times and only paid about 3 euros total.

Room Tip: We stayed in 1103, it has a good view of the street and parking lot.

We stayed here for just one night before catching a early flight from Lisbon airport.
The hotel is near the airport and Entre Campos railway station and Metro. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Would recommend for short stay in Lisbon at a good value price.

Room Tip: Higher floors at the back are quieter.

By NH standards, it’s at the lower end. It’s a good establishment; nothing major to complain about, but there’s room for improvement.
On the positive side:
The staff is friendly and they hand out 24-hour user/password sheets to access wifi internet connection from your laptop or cell phone. The windows have 4 glass panes to ensure you don’t hear the planes hovering over your head as they take off and land in the nearby international airport.
The breakfast was fresh and good quality, although it could be greatly expanded. Also, it should be more abundant. For example, the omnipresent custard pastries so typical in Lisbon only came out by 2. If you weren’t lucky to snatch one then, you had to wait until they refilled the tray, maybe never before you finish eating. Good for the fruit and the salads presented in acrylic balls.
On the negative side:
The room lacks coffee facilities and the tv set was an old fashioned 14” thing of the past. The image wasn’t even good!
The biggest drawback is the location. The hotel is far in the north of the city and there’s absolutely nothing of interest within walking distance. I found a good deal, so I didn’t mind the extra time and money involved in using public transport to get to the city center. There are buses right at the door of the hotel and the Entrecampos metro station on the corner. The ride takes no longer than 15’ and, especially by bus, it’s a pleasant trip. You need to add 2 extra tickets to your budget, but given the large size of Lisbon plus the hills and stuff, it’s always much more convenient to get a 24-hour, unlimited-ride card (6 EUR). That way, the extra rides are not even a factor, as to where the hotel is located.
It’s a good option. I would try to get a deal with NH Liberdade next time. The location is much better, and it looked better in every other sense as well.
