I stayed three nights at this hotel and it was a great choice for Lisbon. I had taken the overnight train from Madrid, and got there very early. The young man at the front desk said the hotel had been fully booked, and our room was not ready, but he kept our luggage and told us things to do while we waited. We bought two Hop Off Hop On tour tickets from the front desk. It is 19EURO for two days if you buy the yellow bus tour, and it is also for the city buses and the city trams. Great value and you can buy it at the front desk.
The Hop On Hop Off tour--Blue Route--stops three blocks from the hotel. It is stop 9 and is in front of the El Corte Ingles Department store. The Metro station is across the street and has two lines--the Blue Line and the Red Line--to the airport.
We were assigned Room 802, and it was great. The room was huge for a European hotel, and the bathroom was great with penty of counter space. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were great. The toom had an empty refrigerator so you could keep your drinks cold. The hotel was very quiet at night.
The hotel is three blocks from the El Corte Ingles department store, and the supermarket is on floor minus one. I bought items there to keep in my refrigerator. The breakfast room was very nice, with a nice variety of foods. There were fresh fruits, pastries, cheeses, cold cut meats, yogurt, drinks, and coffee. The staff was very nice in the breakfast room.
The front desk staff is great and are willing to help and give tourist advice. I cannot think of a better place to stay in Lisbon and will stay here again on my next visit to Lisbon.
