“Perfect accomodation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2014

I stayed in that hotel for 7 nights during my vacations in lisbon. All the staff were friendly and always to help you the room was perfect and the size was big even for one person and i liked it every day clean and fresh also i loved the parfume on the hallway on every floor it offers free wifi and breakfast on 1st floor and i liked it especially the chocolates croissants. Outside there is the terminal station of red line (sao sebastiao) that goes to the airport and also the blue line that goes to santa apolonia if you want to take the train.just after the corner there is a mall (el cortes des ingles) with a super market inside ( if you are not portugese ask at the infromation desk at the el cortes to give you the 10% discount coupon fot the foreigners to use it for clothes shoes parfumes and you can take it ever day that). Also at the blue line 5 stations from the hotel (colegio militar/luz) there is the biggest mall in the iberian peninsula the colombo shopping mall with many shops and restaurants. So back at the hotel i reccomend it to every one and i will choose it again in my next trip to Lisboa.

This place was clean, quiet, and the breakfast was included... a wonderful meal it was! There was a mini fridge in the room, and the room itself was a nice size. No problem with hot water. The television was small, and the internet service was atrocious on the eighth floor. Staff was friendly and attentive. Though not centrally located, public transit is just steps from the front door of the hotel.

This hotel is very good. The rate is very attractive. It's a basic hotel with a nice and clean big room and bathroom. Easy to sleep because the street is very silent. I have just to tell that our heat wasn't work well and we could not to change temperature of the room. There is a good closet and safe in the room. Staff is very helpfull and service is good . Breakfast room is nice and they have many choices of food. They have cereal, fruits, yogurts, ham, cheese, coffee, juices, breads. The location is amazing. There is a metro station in front of the hotel and another one 5 min walking to El Corte Ingles ( department store). We ate there at the food court and they have also a supermarket. There are some restaurants around. It's a good place to stay.

Good value, tourist class hotel in a convenient location in Lisbon.
Right opposite the S. Sebastiao Metro which goes direct to the Airport (If you can find the right exit when you leave the Metro). Very close to the Gulbenkian Museum.
Reasonable size room, Good bathroom with nice size shower. Comfortable beds. Air con, room safe (20E deposit on the key) Mini-Fridge. Good breakfast spread.
Friendly staff who speak good English and were very helpful with recommending local restaurants etc.
It takes about 30 minutes to walk into the city centre (downhill) which is worth doing as you get a great view from the park.
I was on an evening flight so didn't want to carry my luggage around on the last day. They stowed it in the back room for free.
The only reason I've given 4 stars is a minor gripe but the carpet in the room was looking past it's best with a few stains. Everything else was clean and tidy.
I would not hesitate to stay again if in Lisbon.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the lifts as they can be a bit noisy as I found out

Easy access from airport by red line subway to the end of red line. Subway exit/entrance is opposite to hotel door :). The end of red line is in centre of city. Street Duque de Avila is small and quiet with leisurely passage and no bus and truck traffic. Walking distance to big department store and to main street. 610 No room was acceptable clean, quite big and cosy. Properly equipped. With big bathroom with shower and ... with window. Spatial room is perfect even for longer stay. Has fridge, safe, hair dryer and capacious wardrobe.
Buffet breakfast is sufficient, no one hot dish only choice of rolls, one kind of cheese, several of cold cuts. Plenty of fresh filleting tropical fruits, plenty of sweet baked cakes :). Choice of hot beverages and cold juices. Very interesting breakfast buffet :).
Very friendly and amiable staff. Everybody in smiling, eager to help what makes wonderful atmosphere.
Bike rental: opposite side of the street. Car rental? If Y accept Budget - it is on next street, 200 meters from hotel. Beware: Lisbon Old Town is on many hills. Bike is useless there.
Best way to travel? City transport combine subway and trams.

Stayed 8 nights and loved the staff and the room. Especially love the location. It's a few steps away from el corte ingles and in front of the metro station. They had lovely breakfast but they could check for fresher bread. I always found stale bread. But that's not a deal breaker. Lovely hotel.
