We booked this hotel as it's just across the road from the Amorias shopping centre. It says its about 10 mins from the centre but to walk its about 30 and I wouldn't recommend the walk back as its all uphill. Still bus 711 stops across the road which will get you into town and stops right outside the hotel on the way back. The room rate including breakfast was good and the buffet breakfast was good although the hot food was a little tepid. Our room was spacious, good satellite TV, lifts fast and all central spaces, lobby etc very clean. Efficient and friendly reception staff. Room decor a bit outdated and some discoloured grout in the bathroom but water pressure good and water hot. Lovely spa and Sauna but you pay extra for it. Lisbon is a great city.

We booked this hotel at a rather reasonable rate through a Spanish discount website. Despite the nominal 5*, this is not a luxury place but a rather normal accommodation, quite on the outdated side as far as decoration is concerned, but perfectly fine for a short business trip. Breakfast is excellent, bathrooms are well sized and rooms have kingsize, American style, beds with comfortable linen. Boring toiletries and no in room facilities for tea or coffee. There is a so called VIP lounge with a coffee machine but in the evening there was essentially no available clean cups so it was pretty useless. Bottled water was also provided.
Staff at the reception were helpful and so were the guys at the door. Taxis is Lisbon are not expensive and you will need them as the hotel is a bit off the central parts of town. In summary, recommendable if you can get a low fare. If not, there are nicer and better located places in Lisbon.

Room Tip: Choose a room in high floor. The hotel has 20 floors, the last one devoted to the presidential suite...

The hotel is shown as five star and from initial appearance it seems that way. Lobby is large and spacious and restaurant and bar, where breakfast is also severed, look inviting although did not eat in the hotel.

Check-in was very slow despite three staff on duty at the time.

I had a room on the 11th floor which was very large. But the floor still had food deposits from the last guess and you could still hear noise from the street below.

I am still amazed that hotels of this size and price range still charge for internet access which is €7 per 24 hours plus the car park is €7 a day !!

Breakfast had a good vast selection to choose from and I am sure even the most picky eater could have found something to eat. But I did ask for coffee twice and was about to ask a third time when the waiter realised I still did not have the coffee.

Location was a good 20 minutes walk to the harbour and city centre.

I only stayed one night but was a little disappointed with the hotel for the prices charged.

Room Tip: Get a room on the rear of the hotel to avoid road noise.

We stayed for 4 nights in general everything is perfect we had a good offer so we did not pay the full price, the breakfast is tasty and the room big and very clean, good location and just 2 mints walk from big shopping centre. The problem was with the reception as just one guy work (lack of staff) and we had to wait long time every time we want to ask for something in general they are Not rude but we did not feel welcoming. Finally I am quite surprise there is no tooth brush and baste for us in the bathroom as 5 stars hotel. We had a free unlimited access to VIP lounge for coffee, tea drinks water all the time it is perfect offer but I still did not like that we don't have at least tea and kettle in the room for our comfy.

Booked a long weeknd in Lisbon and was looking for somewhere close to city centre and Bairra Alto and this fitted the bill.I would class this as 4 star but cant complain at all about any of the facets. From reservation to checkout it was a pleasurable experience and rooms were clean and well made up.The views of city centre were also decent and the buffet breakfast exceeded my expectations. All in all would definately go back if I was in Lisbon again.

Room Tip: Go for high floor

I loved the restaurant on the 1st floor (I think it was) in particular, Food is just great.
My room was spacious and just right, although it would definitely need some updating.
Breakfast was very quite good and varied.
The hotel is located right in front of Amoreiras Shopping Centre, and in only 5 minutes you are at Marques de Pombal Square, so locationwise, although not in the old centre, its within walking distance from all the main tourist attractions.
I would definitely say that the only downside was the room decoration, other then that I loved staying here!
