“Only good things to say about this hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 May 2014

We stayed two nights in this establishment as part of an Insight Tour. The room was spacious and well appointed and the staff unfailingly courteous and helpful. We did not have dinner in house but breakfast included a comprehensive range of hot food, cereals and fruit. Expresso coffee was there for those who needed it. There is a small gymnasium with treadmills, an exercise bike and some other equipment. The location is fine: about 10 to 15 minutes walk to The Avenue and of course taxis are plentiful and not expensive. All told, this hotel helped make our Lisbon experience most enjoyable.

This hotel is centrally located and a stones throw from a very good shopping centre, although not right in the heart of the city.
We were in 1201 which had an excellent view over the city out to the river. The room is very large, so plenty of space as is the bathroom. A magnifying mirror in the bathroom would not go amiss. However, we had a real problem with wifi dropping out all the time even after making 3 three trips to reception - problems with their router. Use their business centre if you have a problem.
The spa is in the basement and a 30 minute back shoulder and neck massage is 40 euro, very good and would recommend. To use their pool and sauna you pay extra. The breakfast was excellent.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful - I recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: View of river

I recently stayed at the Dom Pedro overnight and fund the the hotel staff extremely efficient but friendly and helpful. The room was luxury itself and I had a view of the city. Unfortunately I had an early morning flight and so missed breakfast but I will definitely be staying here again when I next visit Lisbon. The hotel us very conveniently located close to a shopping centre etc.

I loved this hotel! It's luxurious, and my room was huge! It's very well located, there is a mall right across the street if you want to go shopping, and you can also walk to El Corte Ingles, metro station, beautiful squares. My favorite part had to be the breakfast buffet, it's really amazing! So many option and delicious food! Highly recommended!

We stayed in this 5*hotel for 3 days recently. It was an enjoyable stay. We were in the 16th floor with river view. We were given access to VIP lounge and other amenities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There was only one restaurant, which is closed on weekends. They have a bar and cold buffet dinner in the evenings. Room service is 24 hrs and is good. Over all we enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Room Tip: Top floors are good

I have recently just come back from Dom Pedro Palace and it wasn't what i expected, Yes it is glamorous but what make it that was the following below.
Positives
1. Amazing staff at reception, Karina & Danela where my two favourite staff , helping me in everyday and calling the places i wanted to visit.
2. the Bell boys always getting me a taxi and telling them exactly where i wanting to go.
3. they spoke amazing english

Negatives:
1. thingsThe hotel charge for use of the swimming pool, sauna and the steam room that was out of order i never heard if such a thing so how can you be 5star if your charging your guess.
2. The breakfast was not suited to my needs mainly pork and bacon and ham.
3. i paid for breakfast bt never got up for it

Overall i wouldn't go back and i would, i would go back coz of staff but i wouldn't coz it didn't meet my needs and i real hated i had to pay to use swimming pool

My friend and I spent a really good time in Dom Pedro. The receptionist talked to us in our language (French) what was very pleasant.
In short: Silent place, nice and clean rooms, we were treated like VIPs! Breakfast is fine: wide range of food, pretty fresh and tasty. They obviously care about people. People are polite and helpful.
