We loved our stay at the Sofitel Lisbon in June. The check in went well and the staff very friendly. The room was hugh but perhaps the bathroom a bit small but wasnt a problem for us at all. The colour scheme was relaxing and the bed was massive and very very comfy. I didnt want to get out!

The staff vetted our choices of restaurants for dinner and we were very impressed with their friendly knowlege and love for thier city. The location is fantastic and you can walk most places from the hotel

Overall we will 100% be staying their again the nexy time we visit and have already reccommended that our friends try this hotel too.

We didn't eat at the highly recommended restaurant or take breakfast at the hotel as there were so many great options all around. But we did enjoy the lovely rooms and the great value.
Woudl stay there again.

A 5star hotel in the Center of Lisbon, high service quality, very good rooms.
When you go in this kind of hotels you have very high expectations, and Sofitel Libertade is absolutely in line with them.
The breakfast is excellent, a lot of possible choices (though I didn't find the bacon) with high quality food.
The position is within walking minutes from the center of the town and in front of a metro station, Taxi, unless you have to go to a far location are not needed.
Rooms are comfortable and clean, bathroom quality is excellent.
Only real con are the prices of the extras, wifi is included, but 6/8 euros for a small cup of "standard" wine is maybe too much.
But again, you are in a luxury hotel and you are supposed to pay higher prices for everything.

This hotel is situated right in the centre of lisbon, away from too much partying noise. Easy to walk to the main shopping area and also easy to get local transport just outside the door.
I caught the bus from the airport and it stopped very near the door. However there was work going on and the facade is covered so it took me a while to spot the hotel.
I stayed in a single room on the first floor. It overlooked a park which had some homeless people, one of which shouted at regular intervals through the day and night. The room did not appear to be double glazed as everyone was heard very clearly. Otherwise the room was very clean, fresh sheets every day. One of the amazing beds that Sofitel have. Good toiletries, but surprised there was no conditioner.
The breakfast I had one day. Unfortunately i had been quite ill the day before and did not do justice to this amazing feast. There was so much choice it was the best I have ever seen.
The bar was good. Staff very friendly, and helpful. They advised me on the best port to try and it was very good!!

Overall I would definitely return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Room on a high floor at the back
