If you don't mind taking a bus or subway to the center, this is a nice place to stay that's convenient to transportation and restaurants. The room itself had nice amenities, the front staff was helpful, and it's easy to take the cheap airport bus there. Had a couple of very nice meals close by, thanks to recommendations from the front desk. If you stay here, go to Restaurante Apeadeiro a block away. It was a fabulous family-owned restaurant that was not touristy at all. I would have given the hotel five stars (for the price), but breakfast and wi-fi were extra. The breakfast was a lot of processed food that didn't appeal to me, so I only had it one day. Stayed here four nights and was very satisfied.

I had a problem at the airport and asked to the taxi driver to bring me in a Hotel (no wifi in Lisboa airport to check by myself). he drived me at the Alif hotel, and i think he has something like a percentage on "airport coming clients".
they gave me a double room (for 1 person) and asked me to pay at the check in.
once in the room i checked the prices on Booking.com and i saw that they asked me to pay the double price of the actual rate!
this is not how a correct hotel should work! so easy to play with clients arriving from the airport and that didn't plan to stay one night blocked in Lisboa right? anyway it was too late to have my money back.
i asked if it was possible to have breakfast 10 minutes before 7 cause i had to leave very early for the airport, and they simply answered me NO, without even trying to meet my demand (after all i was paying a LOT, and they could at least try to make me change my mind about their bad service).
receptionists simply don't know how to deal with customers! very bad experience in this hotel

we were on the second floor so no nice views, however room was clean and quite beautiful really, bathroom also clean. Breakfast on the ninth floor, which was quite extensive but not fresh. They could make a huge improvement by just adding some fresh fruit instead of canned fruit, but then again it was 6.50 so we did get our money's worth really. In the middle Lisbon and quite close to the metro station, thought not as many restaurants in the area as expected. However, as I said it's easy to travel elsewhere and the metro goes on until at least 12 at night so you have more than enough time to get back. You can pretty much get to all of the tourist attractions quite easily from this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, though the cleaners in the morning had absolutely no consideration for people who were still asleep at 8 in the morning, haha! Slamming doors is not something I want to wake up to. Overall though, a lovely stay.

Stayed here after deciding to visit Lisbon from the algarve 3 hour train ride so decided to stay
the night before traveling back, found the hotel well above the standard I expected for what we payed, we were on the seventh floor with great views, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable, did book a double room but ended up with two single beds.breakfast was good and reasonable choice which was served on the ninth floor again great views, It was a 5 min. walk from the main train station also the metro is almost right outside the hotel, I would stay there again, the staff were very good and helpful.

Room Tip: if you want a good view of the city ask for a room on one of the higher floors

Hotel clean, neat, positioning near a subway station, Good value.
I recommend rooms in back of the hotel as they are quiet .
Concerning breakfast, I was very pleased with its quality and variety (2-3 kinds of cheese, scrambled eggs, fruits of several kinds, various yogurts, several types of cookies, etc).

I spend one night at ALIF Lisbon hotel. My room was located at the front of the hotel in the sixth floor, and still I could hear an occasional motocycle roaring by in the avenue bellow. So if you need to get some rest, ask for a room in the back.

My room was not too big, but beds were comfortable and the closet had plenty of space. Air conditioning and TV were part of the room.

WC was good.

Breakfast was surprisingly good for a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is located in the center of Lisbon, with a nearby subway station.

Parking in the hotel garage costs 7 Euros.

The biggest problem with this hotel is that it does not have free WiFi.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back of the hotel if you want to have a quiet night.
