“Good hotel, bad staff”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014

The hotel is not bad, it's clean and in a very good location if you want to travel out and inside Lisbon. It's next to the metro (Campo Pequeno - yellow line) and to the Entrecampos train station (frome here you can easly go to Sintra, Cascais, Azambuja..).
But the staff is quite rude, sometime they don't even look at you (the bartender girl for exemple!), and not a smile!
Too bad...the Portuguese are so kind!!!

The strangest thing was no wifi or internet in the rooms so if you there for some meetings and have to connect via emails you should be aware that internet is only available in the lobby. Rooms are not so sound proof that you can hear voices from your neighbor visitors and outdoor. Location is not so close to old town as well. Near to metro station and bull fight stadium though. I haven't found any good hotel for eating nearby as well

A good hotel and very near to the metro station Campo Pequeno. It is about 15-20 minutes by train or bus from this hotel to most of the touristy places – Baixa, Chiado and even the big train station Cais de Sodre. It's a quiet area, this one - so good sleep is guaranteed.
The rooms are comfortable with enough space for two and even big-sized luggage. Wifi only available in the lobby, which is a downer.

We are a mature couple and have been on the road for 13 months.
We arrived in Lisbon and stayed at a central city hotel right in the middle of the tourist area.
It was a poor quality noisy hotel and cost us E90 a night.
We returned to Lisbon two weeks later and booked this hotel to be near the airport.
This hotel, on the other hand, is fantastic for exactly half the price.
It is not in the heart of the tourist area but there is a Metro just around the corner with a line going straight to the tourist area - about 20 minutes for E1-50 each way.
The reception staff were excellent and informative - couldn't be more helpful.
The hotel was extremely clean throughout.
There was a nice bar and plenty of lounge areas.
The bedroom was adequate with a tight but functional bathroom.
There was no street noise at all.
There was no WiFi in the room but good coverage in the lounge areas.
To me it is a no-brainer: stay here, pay an extra 5 or 10 Euro a day and you would still be saving 40 Euros a day in accommodation costs compared to the central city establishments.
This is where we will stay if returning to Lisbon.

This is nice 3 star hotel in center Lisbon. The rooms are a bit outdated, and sometime the wallpaper was not in proper conditions, but the cleanliness of the room and the toilets was impeccable. The breakfast was a bit above par for a 3 star hotel, and it was a nice surprise. The hotel is really very well located in Lisbon, close to metro stations, and allowing nice walks. Our room was in the 8th floor, and everything was quiet, so the quality of sleep was excellent. The major drawback is that the hotel does not provide Internet in the rooms, it only has free WiFi in the lobby. We also could not park the car in the garage because it was full.

Room Tip: ask for a room in a top floor and facing the back of the hotel to get a quiet room.

Great location, near public transports and easy to drive to if you've got you own car (although paied street parking).
Near campo pequeno, nice area to walk and feel the city.
Very good rooms: modern, clean and confortable. Free use of the safe.
Unfortunatley breackfast is not included in the price.

Room Tip: If you need your sleep try to get a floor without "party guests"

A very functional hotel and an excellent location in Lisbon’s Campo Pequeno. A very short walk to the stadium that is the venue of world-class shows. It was a Friday and we were on the fifth floor by the elevator and it was extremely quiet. In the morning the birds woke us up! The bedroom was quite large and the bathroom was nicely tiled and appointed. A comfortable sitting chair in the bedroom would be a welcome addition.

Room Tip: We stayed in 516 that was quiet but no great view.
