Great location but also quiet. Very near the bus stop for the airport bus. (We didn't know this so took a taxi.) On arrival our bags were whisked from the cab & up to our room. Check in was simple & efficient. The room was nothing flashy but very comfortable, clean and cosy. It had comfy beds, blackout curtains, (as well as normal curtains) efficient quiet aircon & a good bathroom. There was also fresh robes & slippers supplied. There was plenty of storage space and room for leaving cases around without tripping over them.
We had an extra bed in our room for our son, at no extra charge.

We did not take breakfast at the hotel as it was much cheaper to take it at a pastry shop nearby.
The public rooms were lovely & 1 evening we enjoyed very relaxing tea, coffee & petit fours just before bed. The roof terrace is also great, but easily missed. Nice for a quiet drink after a day's sightseeing - honesty bar.

All staff were very helpful, for example I asked to borrow an electrical adaptor which was no problem.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It really gave the impression that everything had been thought about to make the guests' stay as enjoyable as possible.

We spent 5 nights here last October and would definitely return. The weather was perfect and the hotel is centrally located near Rossio Square, one block from Metro stop. The staff were very courteous and friendly and the buffet breakfast (including eggs to order) fresh coffee, rolls, pastries, fruit , yogurt, etc. was a great way to begin each day. The hotel is within walking distance of the Santa Justa elevator ( a must for taking photos), tram stops for touring the Alfama neighborhood and Castelo Sao Jorge, restaurants, tram to Bairro Alto. You can stroll down Avenida Liberdade all the way down to the waterfront at Praca do Comercio. The hotel is very quiet and also has a peaceful rooftop terrace, good for relaxing with a few cocktails or catching up on a good book. An additional treat is that all the rooms are non-smoking, although, for you smokers there is even a separate smoking lounge adjacent to the lobby. Vale a pena! (It's worth it!)

My son booked us a 3 night stay here at short notice. I had a superior single room facing the back. It looked rather old fashioned but the room was spacious, the bed comfy and although the air con looked old it was quiet and efficient. There were no coffee/tea making facilities in the room as stated but the delightful chamber maid ( Cecelia.. I think) brought me a large flask of hot water and a good selection of tea bags whenever I asked and no charge was made for this.

I used the gym once and found it perfect with good air con, TV and supply of towels and cold water. It would be nice to have a few weights in addition to the cardio machines.

Just a warning.. on checking out someone had charged a lunchtime meal of sardines to my room number so check your bill carefully! The receptionist eventually accepted this was not my bill and not my signature and did not charge me.

Room Tip: ask for a superior room

Very nice small hotel close to the centre of Lisbon, excelent value at the discount rate we obtained. Don't do evening meals but there are plenty of good restaurants nearby and their buffet breakfast was superb. We also found all of the hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

We spent 4 nights in this hotel . It has been ok , the only issue was the smelling of the beds which my wife didn't like at all. The mattress was also such that if one moved also the other did .Cleaning was ok but not excellent . We had no breakfast because the location , which is very good near the main monuments and public transports , is full of bar . U are also at a walking distance from the Bairro Alto so dinner and night are as u would.
Reception was ok also if it seemed us the people didn't speak such a good english . While such a good location the hotel was very silent so , excluding the bed , sleeping was perfect.
