We loved the public areas, gardens and friendly front of house staff in this property. The breakfast buffet is also very good with some of the dishes changing daily which adds interest. Coffee and tea are not good, which is a pity for a leading hotel. Things to watch out for which might help other visitors:
Sound proofing is not good and there is a constant noise from the air conditioning units – not great for light sleepers.
There is no where in walking distance from the hotel so you always have to take a taxi (there is a shuttle service during the day to the main areas which we took a couple of times). It is not a huge deal as taxis are not expensive in Lisbon but it is sometimes nice to walk to local cafes / shops from where you stay.
Finally, do your own research on where to dine – front desk staff not really knowledgeable on good restaurants and bars.More
