Reviewed 23 May 2010

Have just returned from 2 night stay with my daughter at the Four Seasons and it was wonderful. We arrived ar 09.00am to a very hot day and were met by the Four Seasons chauffeur in a black air con mercedes who rang the hotel en route to confirm our arrival at the airport and our estimated time of arrival at the hotel. On arrival we were met by the service manager and taken to our room on level 9 .The service manager checked us in and our cases were bought up by the porter all this was done vewry professionally and very impressive. The room was fantastic we had a double deluxe twin room with a terrace that over looked the park and Lisbon .The funishings in the room were classic design of very good quality and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom is exceptionally spacious and luxurious and a lot of attention to detail has been spent on the interiors of the rooms.
Maid service is twice a day we were given complimentary pastries, port and fruit on our arrival which was a nice touch.
Breakfast was plentiful even for the fussiest eater there was something my daughter and I are both vegetarians and we were more than happy with the choices available.
We both went to the Spa and had a massage which was wonderful and very relaxing we did not use the pool but it looked wonderful.
The views from floor 10 where the fitness centre is are some of the best views of Lisbon that you will ever see.
So would I go back again yes I would but sadly as it is on the higher side of my limited budget it wont happen. My daughter is a travel agent and we got a very special package. If you are lucky enough to have the chance to stay there do.

A wonderful hotel. The service is faultless and the facilities superb. The gym (very clean and well appointed) is located on the roof, with a small outside running track which gives unparalleled views across Lisbon. The spa is also fantastic.

a very nice hotel overlooking the park. the ground floor (reception/bar) area is extremely spacious and tastefully decorated, unlikely some of the other (more stuffy) ritz hotels which i have been to. very plush furniture and nice flowers. high ceilings. there was a pianist in the evening, setting the mood.
very spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. spacious bath tub with l'occitane toiletries.
the modern, well-equipped gym on the top floor was the most impressive of all - it is encased in glass (i.e. massive floor to ceiling windows), offering a view of the city. all cardio machines are equipped with a TV. personal trainers are readily available and can be booked for a targeted work out. they even offer pilates! there is also a circular jogging route outside the gym, still on the top floor. the hotel also offers a spa, although i did not have the time to visit it.

We stayed here for one night in March 2010 and all that I can say about this hotel is that it is excellent. Great service, very nice spa and fitness areas, very tasteful and varied breakfast buffet. Rooms are large and has everything you need. Efficient room service, the chocolate mousse is a must! The only things that slightly bothered me was that the bar was quite smoky and the lack of free internet connection (18 euro I think). Otherwise no negatives. Would return anytime!

The service and quality lived up to the reputation of a Four Seasons hotel.
From greeting us at the hotel doors to booking out, the staff could not be more helpful and friendly.
A most enjoyable experience.

The Ritz is not just a great luxury hotel - it is also a magnificent work of architecture from the mid-20th century. Hotels nowadays - even luxury ones - are no longer made this way. Maybe marble and space and art have become too expensive. If you can afford it and if you are not a "nouveau rich", definitelly stay there. For the mangement I leave this suggestion: replace the matresses by harder/tougher ones.

We arrived at the Ritz Four Seasons Lisboa from the Hotel Arts in Barcelona. It was a world of difference. Whereas the Hotel Arts was loud, disorganized, rude, incompetent and profiteering, the Four Seasons was all about good taste, fair pricing and unobtrusive service. I have stayed at the Ritz Lisboa 5 times already, and I will go back as long as they are open. The pools in particular are fantastic and the breakfast is always delicious.
