“Lunch at the Restaurant”
Reviewed 11 November 2013

After our bus tour of Lisbon we went to the hotel restaurant. The hotel is about 200 metres from the bus terminus and on a hot day the restaurant was a welcome place to have our lunch. The food was set out in buffet style with the ability to order dishes and drinks if required. We found the service very good and enjoyed the hotel facilities after our lunch

The location is fantastic, right at Praca Marques de Pombal and a few steps away from the metro station. It's also near the Avenida da Liberdade. The breakfast has wide selection of food. The slightly annoying part is the internet needs to be redirected to the wifi homepage the first time you use it and it took a while for the network to pick up on that (for me at least a few hours). Other than that everything was very nice.

we stayed here Oct 6th for 3 nights. good initial check in. however, we soon realised the hotel is in two bits. we didn't realise on booking that we were in the 'budget' bit. ok, we got a good price, but thought that the hotel offered all facilities. no room service, no tea or coffee facilities not flagged up at booking ( my sisters went looking for tea for me as i was suffering with pleurisy of all things) and the bar man refused to help out. i was able to put 1 euro 50 into a vending machine in the hallway to see me through the night. second night i was feeling a little better. we tried to have a pre-dinner drink at the 'bar' in reception. old bottle of white wine and a very confused. grumpy bartender trying to work out what a g and t was. the other part of the hotel was much slicker. somehow, we didnt know about this. the hotel looks great on the webside, but beware which bit you book into. however, good location, right opposite Tour Buses. Rooms very clean. Room 104 was sold as having a garden view. Er no. brick wall view. so buyer beware. Also, the garden belongs to the 'posher' bit of the hotel. so no garden for us. if you want a clean, basic, good location - then this is it. But bring your own tea and coffee making facilities!! hope this helps.

Room Tip: Don't choose 104 if you want a garden view.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend in October. The hotel is in a great position in the middle of Lisbon on Marques de Pombal square. It's really easy to get to and from everywhere - the Metro station is right opposite the hotel. Had a great view from the room of the square. We were on the 5th floor, I think it was a standard room but plenty of room and storage, lovely bathroom, bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Restaurant - we had breakfast all three morning and it was nice - though there were some interesting choices!! - cheesecake?, cauliflower and broccoli? apart from those though the usual continental, cereals, cooked items etc. Dinner - we only had dinner in the restaurant one night (though we did order room service and it was lovely) there's buffet dinner in the restaurant and we weren't really that impressed to be honest - salad buffet was fine and I had plenty to eat from that, but wasn't that keen on the meat/fish options personally. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone.

We found this hotel for our few days in Lisbon and it was a great choice.
The hotel is few steps from the metro station and if you want you can easily reach it by bus from the airport.
All the staff was kind and available to give information or help you if you need to reserve a restaurant or find attractions.
The room was very big with a lot of space for our luggages and both the room and the bathroom were very clean.
The only negative thing is the wifi access that has some problems in the rooms.
If you want to spend some day in Lisbon it is a good place to stay.

Ferfect hotel for holidays and business. Situated right in the middle of Lisbon. Walkind distance to all major attractions, next to the metro.
We stayed with friends for 5 nights and we all enjoyed our stay.
The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, comfortable beds, clean bath room with all amenities available. The Breakfast was wonderful, Daily fresh fruit with mangos and papyas pineapples.

I reccomend the hotel to all travelers to Lisbon.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights. Easy to access from the airport, the metro stop is located next to the hotel. All other major attractions could also be accessed from the metro. The hop on off bus stops were also located next to the hotel which also helped in getting around. The rooms were a good size, secure and well maintained. We were by the road which meant a good view of the square outside but, some traffic noise which is to be expected. The breakfast buffet had an excellent choice and catered for all tastes. All in, a good hotel, good facilities and well located. Would stop here again or recommoned.
