Came to Lisboa, ready to just have a stop over before continueing the next day to Brasil. I've selected the Sheraton for multiple reasons, close to the airport but not too close, nice view from the top of a hill... and so on. I was very warm welcomed and the staff was attentive and efficient while checking in. I found myself in a nice room and I immediately wished some older worn out Sheratons would have rooms like this. Clean, not too big, modern furnished... liked it very much.
The service offered was excellent. I truely recommend this hotel (top floors) and not just for guest but also for other Sheraton propertys as light tower! I think about coming back soon to stay a bit longer ...

This was our second stay in Lisbon--we had just come from the Sheraton Algarve and thought we would give the Lisbon property a try for the night before we flew out of Lisbon. Interestingly, we were able to get a better deal through Hotels.com than by using the Sheraton people in the Algarve. However, we were punished for using an agency as our stay would not count for SPG points. Seemingly, Starwoods does not appreciate that our last minute booking was 'found' money.

The lobby is very nice and the rooms very modern and attractive. There are a number of gadgets in the room--it would have been helpful if the porter had taken the time to show us how they work.
There is a great bar and restuarant on the top floor BUT smoking is allowed in the bar---a major turn-off for us non smokers.

As indicated in other reviews, the hotel charges extra for wifi, the gym and the pool. Wifi is apparently free for 1 hour in the lobby but when you go on-line, you are told you will be charged 4 euros--you have to go to the front desk to get the bill written off. I find this corporate approach to charging for wifi irritating ----- and the availability of free wifi does influence where we stay.

As mentioned, this is our second stay in Lisbon. The Sheraton is apparently in the business district and frankly we found little to walk to. In our first visit we stayed in the old part of Lisbon which is much more convenient and interesting.

Great hotel. Loses a star because it is expensive to eat and drink in the hotel itself and also the fact that use of the pool was not included in the price. It was €12.50 per person per day which I thought was a bit steep.

The hotel is modern and the rooms are very comfortable. There's no denying it is a little bit out of the city. The fact that it is directly opposite the picoas metro station was the saving grace though It was very easy to get into Lisbon city center and other attractions including the zoo.

The staff were excellent.

There's a shopping centre across the road with cafe's, a grocery store to the rear and up the hill a little bit and also some nice restaurants.

All in all we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

I am a SPG member so I have stayed in many Sheratons. While many of them are great, I think this is the best Sheraton thus far. Many reviews criticize the location of this hotel, but I think the location is one of its best attributes. Because it is located away from the busy city center, it is less crowded and certainly not as noisy. I had the displeasure of staying at a five star hotel in the town center one time and the noise made me crazy. I am not going to repeat all the reviews, but I want to stress the Sheraton's restaurant on the top floor: the view is amazing and the service impeccable. The food creations were interesting and rather tasty. If you are going to have one night of fine dinning, look no farther than in your own hotel. Highly recommended.

One last note, the operation of the shower is not so complicated just turn the left nobe clockwise to turn on the overhead shower.

The good - first, the staff really excel at making guests feel important. We arrived at the hotel with not much time for lunch before the scheduled pickup by a tour bus. We decided to eat in the rooftop piano bar, but time was getting really tight. No problem - Bruno the bartender to the rescue. He went down to the lobby and arranged for reception to let us know when the tour guide arrived. Then there was the spectacular view of Lisbon from the restaurant, and the serene decor in the hallways and the modern decor of the rooms. The bad .... Many little things didn't work, sink plugs, blinds in the bathroom (giving no privacy), weird shower controls. The hotel moved us to another floor because the blind issue couldn't easily be fixed. Overall, a very nice stay, the good far outweighing the not-so-bad.

We stayed three nights in Sheraton Lisbon in June. For the money paid, the room was nice and spacious. The staff at concierge was helpful and has good knowledge about local restaurants, transportation and sightseeing places. When we called for slippers during first night, the response was rather slow, and we were told they couldn't manage to send us any due to too many demands. The locker in our room was broken so we had difficulty to get passports out, while the staff came to help us very shortly.

Overall it was a nice experience!

We stayed two nights and it was great experience. From the check-in we got great service. As a gold member we got an uppgrade to SPG floors. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern and very quiet. The automatic blind curtains gave great blackout at night. Bed was comfortable and the view from room was magnificent! We also enjoyed the fitness center and spa area with swimming pool, jazuzzi and steam saunas. There was an extra cost using the pool, but it wasn't that bad. At least it doesn't get so crowded.
Breakfast was okay. I would like some more selection but overall very good.
The service in all departments of the hotel was exceeding our expectations. Definitely worth it's price and would go anytime again!

Room Tip: SPG floors (15-18) are very nice. Beautiful decorations and renovated rooms.
