Close to metro station at around 10 mins walk. The neighbourhood is a residence area and it's quiet at night. Not to mention too much about the rooms and services as they were at standard Holiday Inn quality. The response from house-keeping was quick. The breakfast buffet had a full range from hot dishes to fruit and juices. The only thing that surprised us was we got two double bed instead of four twin bed as booked, thus we're in a group of four male.

First of all thank you for choosing Holiday Inn Lisbon. Your comment is very important, with your feedback we can make an analysis of the positive and negative points. We work daily to maintain Holiday Inn standards. Regarding the room, our rooms are suitable for four guests but unfortunately they have only 2 double beds.
We look forward to have you as our guest in the future.
Kind regards,
Paula Vidal

I have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times in the last 5 years. The hotel is a little dated, but clean and feels homely. The staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant are friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is nice, nothing amazing, but ok for a quiet meal.

I was upgraded to a suite, which was nice and spacious, with a good view of the statue on the roundabout, the only downside is traffic noise from the cobbled streets, but I quickly got used to it. They have recently installed WIFI which was fast and reliable.

It's located away from the tourist sites, but there are 2 metro stations walkable in 10 minutes. Campo Pequeno is about a 10 minute walk with quite a few bars/restaurants and an underground shopping centre.

Overall, there is nothing amazing about the hotel but I always enjoy staying there, and will most likely be back on my next trip to Lisbon.

It’s good to hear that it feels like home. We work daily to improve our service.
We recently improved our wireless network, which was a big handicap before.

We look forward to have you as our guest in the future.

Very good value. Friendly service. Taxi from airport cost €12.50. Breakfast in hotel €10.00. Easy to get into town if you don't mind a 10 min walk to the Metro or a stroll through the city's park down to the old town. No restaurants immediately around hotel but we were recommended 'Italy', an Italian restaurant four blocks away and it was fantastic. Fresh pasta and even spaghetti ice cream! Without drinks, dinner came to around €15.00pp. For cheap meals there are small cafe/restaurants in the old town that do set menus of the day for as little as €5.00pp including dessert, soft drink and coffee.

Polite friendly staff with fluent English. Our room was very large, that feels good. The restaurant, Vasco de Gama, serves good food. Grilled stone bass was delicious. Waiters were very helpful. Walking distance to the Republic Avenue and Campo Pequento.

I have stayed here twice.

The hotel is ok. The people at the reception are friendly, it is not too far from the subway and the prices are good. It is near the airport. Do not expect too much action around here... Best for business, not for couples or family...

Internet costs 6 Euro a day but connection is very bad.

Stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of December. Not alot around the hotel and nearest metro is about a 10 minute walk away. It cost €15 in a taxi from the airport. But we got the metro back which was very easy and cost around €1.80. The only place to eat near the hotel is a little place called Strudel, they had very reasonable prices and friendly staff.

The hotel itself is basic but clean and comfortable. Wifi is €6 a day but the connection is poor and it kept going on and off which was frustrating especially as you have to pay for it. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.
Staff were very helpful when we needed to move rooms due to the heating not working.

One thing i noticed was how miserable all the locals were, even the people working in shops/pubs/restaurants!

It was my first time visiting Lisbon. My parents were coming also. We were going to meet at the hotel. My parents flights were cancelled and they were delayed for a day. The management was accommodating and applied the missed night as a credit. That was a very nice gesture.

I'm a platinum member with IHG and we were upgraded to a corner room. The view was amazing. The shower was wonderful. It was a very nice touch to have complimentary fruit brought up and felt like they cared. The staff was genuinely friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. My parents room was smaller, but they said it was a very nice enjoyable stay as well. They were able to rest really well after a long day of travelling. Breakfast was very varied, nothing too special, but definitely passable.

My only complaint is that wifi was poor.

It was a lovely stay and I would stay here again without question.
