I stayed here for a couple of nights, and the hotel was selected for me, so I didn't have a say. Well, it's ok... Nothing to write home about... if what you're after is a bed to sleep in and then you just get in and out and catch taxis to wherever you're going, then it's fine. The room was very clean and functional, though a bit small. I would definitely go for an upgrade next time. Service was fine and professional. The food was also ok.

Not close to downtown but a nice long walk to reach it: let's say 30 minutes walk - the hotel is out of the traditional touristic place. Rooms are well maintained and clean (we had a "junior suite", with a room and a living room - which is to be recommended with families).
Disappointing is the breakfast (diversity, quality a bit poor for such an hotel). Despite the really good service of the staff there.

We stayed at this hotel two nights in June 2012 and had a good stay. The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff answered our questions politely and were helpful but not warm, and public transportation was easily accessible. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as we knew it was not included and expensive. There is a small place nearby for coffee and more places in the shopping center in Campo Pequeño. We knew that this hotel was not in the downtown core; it is more in a business residential area, but a great Priceline deal. As for cons, breakfast should be included, WIfi was impossible, and the half door in the bathtub/shower does not keep the water in, but this is a European thing. We do not understand the half door. We would recommend this hotel.

This Holiday Inn was very unspectacular. The staff are very hurried and not professional at all. The customer service was terrible.

We booked two rooms since we ar a big family, two adults and three children. The children are young (6 years old, 3 year old twins). There are NO connecting rooms so we had to split up the kids and adults to make sure that we could be secure and proper attention to the kids.

Lisbon was very hot and the air conditioning was very poor in both rooms. You have to make sure that the drapes are shut so that you can ensure the room does not get too warm. One of the panels for the air conditioning in the room fell and blocked the door from opening. When I mentioned this to the hotel front desk they were not attentive and did not provide any concern.

We stayed at the hotel two nights from 7/16 to 7/18/2012.

Stay away from this horrible place!!!

Room Tip: No swimming pool

The advantages of this hotel are it is close to the Yellow subway line (Campo Pequeno). The room was clean and comfortable. That is it.

The disadvantages of this hotel are as follows: The hotel is not close to the downtown area which has a lot of places to eat and see. There are a few places by the hotel but not that many. The wifi internet you have to pay for and it is horrible. Half the time it does not work. Fortunately, you can by pass the login and still access Facebook and Gmail for free. The signal was not very strong either. The hotel staff with the exception of one person at the desk were not rude but unfriendly.

It would be nice to have a pool or hot tub here, however there is none. Also the breakfast buffet is expensive, 12 euros you can get breakfast cheaper if you go outside.

Finally inside the room they do not provide any shampoo or soap it is all attached to the wall, and 1 was empty when we got here. In addition to this we were 3 people and they knew this before hand but it took them hours to bring in a spare bed and towels.

I don't mean to nip-pick but I was disappointed since Holiday Inn carries a higher standard with it's name.

Hotel is very nice, very clean and just 200 metres from Campo Pequeno metro station. It's where the Aerobus line 1 leaves you. Personnel is very very kind. It's very rare to allow you an early check inn, 6 hours before the actual check in. Additionaly when we checked out very kindly allow us to leave our luggage in the reception area in order to collect it several hours later. The biggest disadvantage was that there was no free breakfast. Additionally no free wi-fi connection was available. To be honest there was not even a payable wi-fi connection. A very useful tip: The nearest shopping area (campo pequeno mall) offers a free internet connection with username: cpequeno and password: cpequeno. Try them, sometimes works. Hope that it's still available with the same passwords.

The staff was very nice. I would've liked to have wifi access for a bit cheaper than what it was. The room was beautiful. I'm always impressed with a gorgeous bathroom. It would've been nice to have a fridge without a minibar.
