If you like Marriott hotels you will probably like this hotel.
It's really close to the airport and not far from downtown Lisbon.
However, if you don't like the old / mumsy style of Marriott bedroom and bathroom decor - especially pink wallpaper, you will probably notice the issues with this hotel.
I was there for two nights on a business trip recently.
The room was spacious enough and comfortable.
The main issues were:
1) no hot water one day - very cold shower!
2) noisy air con - had to use earplugs
3) crazy prices for wifi, something like 15 or 20 euros per 24 hours - which is about what most people will pay for a month back home
The communal areas of the hotel are well laid out and spacious, typical Marriott pale marble floors. During the breakfast "rush hour" you may struggle to find a spare table to sit at.
All the food is fresh, tasty and well presented, and the staff are generally helpful. Lunch time is not busy.
There is a nice outside pool and lots of outdoor seating which is a nice touch.
The hotel is definitely good value, especially compared to hotels in other European capitals or tourist hot spots.More
