First impression, the hotel's modern design seems to work well overall, but the small, bare reception desk didn't portray its 4 stars rating. The room - well laid out, but I felt the bed is a bit too firm for me and the air conditioning was struggling a little. I particularly like the Yves Rocher shampoo and shower gel. Its breakfast buffet wasn't great for a 4-starred hotel. I think the best thing about the hotel was its location - very near to the main centre of Lisbon, or if you want to go further, with metro, but still quite secluded and quiet.

our booking was done for two double-bed rooms with double, not twin beds, and when we checked in they said there are no double-bed rooms available! very disconcerting, i must say. the receptionist's attitude was "not my fault, you should have mentioned two kingsize-bed rooms instead of two double rooms". they solved the problem eventually but the point is tourism jargon is irrelevant to travellers, don't hold it against us if we can't speak hotel-ese - especially when we specifically mention "no twin beds" on our reservation - that should be enough!!!

the breakfast offering was not enough for a 4-star hotel, f.i. same food every day for 6 days and no vegetables whatsoever. the coffee was terrible.

the beds are luxurious, lightning is great, bathrooms well equipped and the rooms overall are extremely clean, but unfortunately there are no sound-proof windows which can be a problem even when you're trying to sleep at the 7th floor.

for some strange reason, the hotel guests were all senior citizens. we were basically the only 4 guests in their thirties at that hotel :))

Room Tip: bring your earplugs... the streets are noisy and they have no soundproof windows.

Stayed for 5 nights on business. The hotel is modern and clean and the location is outstanding (corner of Avenue Liberdade). There are many dining options within short walking distance and a grocery store across the street. Staff was very nice and efficient, check-in and check out very quick with no hassle. The doorman (who is there most of the time) is an exceedingly nice gentleman and very helpful. Staff speaks very good English and was helpful beyond just hotel information (travel options, shopping and local tips and tricks).

Standard room is not big but comfortable with a good sized bathroom and amenities. On the 4th floor I had no view but I was not looking for one. Breakfast was fine, what you would expect from this level of hotel. No real sitting area in the lobby but there is a small bar for impromptu meetings if needed.

I used public transport only once and the station was very close to the hotel. When asking for a taxi at any time of the day or night reception uses an internet service and the taxi got there within 5 minutes which I found very convenient.

The TV in the room is tiny but usable, the reception of some stations was very poor but that may have been an issue with my room (was not important enough to request a fix).

Housekeeping is perfect, the room was cleaned very well every day of my stay.

Room Tip: I've heard higher floors have views and a balcony. On the 4th floor I had neither.

This hotel offers an excellent and calm location, very near to the main centre of Lisbon and with a metro station in a few meters. The staff is very polite and the room service is very efficient. The only thing I´d like to point is that the buffet was very poor taking into account this a 4 stars hotel.

Room Tip: Choose an interior room. The Avenida Liberdade could cause certain noise at early morning.

Just back from a weekend break in Lisbon to celebrate my husbands birthday; we stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a most pleasant stay. The receptionist was incredibly nice, our room though small was very well laid out and the décor was just beautiful. I would certainly recommend this hotel for location, appearance and it's pleasant staff.

Went for a mini break with the girls and rang the hotel as we were due to arrive early morning and saw on trip advisor that check in was at 2 pm. Rang the hotel to see if we could leave our luggage until check in time. Spoke to Pedro, who was unbelievably helpful, yes we could leave our bags, happy to give information and very welcoming. When we arrived we were put in a terrace room which was amazing with views of Lisbon. Hotel was very centrally located, modern and clean. The only downside was breakfast, very limited!

Lisbon is a very beautiful city but it is really worth going for a day trip to Sintra, with its fairy tale castles. We hired tuk tuk's and for 20 euros each we had our own private tour for the day.

All the reception staff where helpful and happy to give information and advise. But star of our break had to be Pedro.

Room Tip: Take a jumper for the evening as it gets cool

Stayed one night. Similar to a travel lodge in uk. Basic but that was all we needed. 15 min walk to rossio.
Room very basic and hard to get a wi fi signal in the room. Breakfast was not really that good but given the price we paid it was not too important to us
