Stayed here for 4 nights in March, very conveniently located hotel for the sights, metro and generally getting around. Rooms very comfortable and perfectly adequate for what we needed. Breakfast is plentiful although breakfast area can become a bit crowded and the coffee is the strongest I have ever tasted !!
All in all I would recommend this Hotel - booked through Travel Republic

Room Tip: possibly avoid rooms overlooking the road as there can be traffic noise

the hotel is ideally located the front of house staff friendly and helpful rooms spotlessly clean and spacious but.... the breakfast is not 4 star, the breakfast room is cramped it's laid out in tables of four so as most of the guests are couples you share with strangers (or dirty dishes as the staff aren't very efficient !) the hot food is not replenished often (on our last day we ate at 7.45am there was no hot food available) the coffee and tea is undrinkable, it's a shame the breakfast is poor as the rest of the amenities are excellent.

Room Tip: the rooms on the main road are noisy

I stayed here for three days during a business trip in march 2014. It's conveniently located near avenida de Libridad...so within walking distance to the embassies , Rossio square and metro stop avenida. The restaurant Rubro is just around the corner so try it out.
I'll be honest this was an average hotel to me. The breakfast was basic, rooms were clean, no bed bugs, beds were not the comfiest...(two single beds pushed together) but this was a good trade off for its location and price range.
The staff were friendly and could speak confidently about where to go, and what to do.

Room Tip: Try to get a room without two beds pushed together.

Deserves its four stars. Rooms were high standard comfortable, clean and well laid out. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Good choice for breakfast would definitely recommend it. A couple of small cafes near by if you want reasonably priced lunch etc. Near enough to shops and the main attractions metro and bus routes.

Excellent Location, stayed March 4-6th. Room clean and very well layed out. King size bed really comfortable. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed lisboaburger salad and bottle of wine at the Chutney's Bistro in the hotel, Breakfast included each morning the food was hot and all the pastries and breads were fresh. Would definetly stay here again
It takes about 35 minutes to walk from this hotel right down to the river - did I mention excellent location, no crowds and best of all the PRADA store is right around the corner.
