Great staff and service, awesome location for travelers spending New Year's Eve because of the privileged view towards the spectacular fireworks show. The heated floors throughout the room, the gigantic mirrors and huge bathtub make it terribly hard to want to leave the place. Overall a very romantic stay!

I was here for work for 7 weeks from july 2013, and the Tivoli was picked for its location to work and good price. Its a nice hotel, clean, comfortable rooms and in a nice bit of Lisbon close to the Expo centre. The parking is a bit pricey at 12.5 euros a night but you could always park in the multi storey opposite for a bit less. Internet is ok and is free if you joint the hotel points scheme, which also cost nothing. Gym is functional enough and quite well equipped and the pool and health facilities good. The sun terrace is a good sun trap in the afternoons although the daytime trains can be a bit noisy outside.Breakfast buffet is good with plenty of choice. The restaurant looks good but again its hotel prices on food and drink, but a short walk away are lots of places for meals or just drinks and snacks. Even the mall opposite has a large, low priced food court. The restaurants along the waterfront are excellent. There is a metro almost next door and a bus station behind it, also taxi ranks right outside. Had 49 nights here with no problems at all.

We stayed 2 nights in August.
It's a beatiful business hotel that is suitable also for a family stay (the stff provided us with 2 communicating rooms).
We upgraded (under your suggestion) to 2 river-view rooms and the price is worth the view!
The breakfast was rich and good

Old rooms and bathrooms, definitely need to be refurbished. The outside of the hotel and the lobby area looks very modern and clean, but the rooms and hallways are old and worn out.
Airconditioning in the rooms are not very effective, old bathrooms and very old-fashioned decor in the rooms.
breakfast is OK but not fussy. not a breakfast you would expect in a 4 star hotel.
Location is great next to convention and shopping centre and Metro to the centre of the city.
Pool and fitness areas are dodgy, doesn't make you want to go fitness or go swimming when you see the them.

i stayed at this hotel on a business trip, for one night
rooms were ok, with comfortable beds. also, it was very quiet.
bathrooms were a little old-fashioned and could use a makeover.
breakfast was good enough.

We selected this hotel for its proximity to the convention center but would not stay there again. Service was unfriendly and unhelpful. The internet connection was organized so that, in order to get it free, you needed to sign up for membership. This was OK except access required a different login and password each day provided at the front desk.
Restaurant was good for breakfast because it was a buffet. Service at all other meals was very slow and not particularly friendly.

I had a day in Lisbon so i choose something close to airport and expo. Its a great place for evening walk or run. Many restaurants and shopping close by. Hotel was good as well, nice breakfast. Has dinner at their Hippo restaurant which was standard, but the service was great makes u feel special.
